An Announcement

Hey. It's been a while. I'll keep this short and sweet, and put extra stuff under the cut. It's something I should've said a while ago.

SCARLETWINGEDKING, as well as all associated sideblogs, are going on an indefinite hiatus.

There's a lot of reasons for this. My interests shifting, other roleplays I'm in becoming active again, but the biggest is probably my mistakes here. I'm not going to get into to detail about that here, but basically, I messed up big time on multiple occasions in this community. And while I want to try and make it up, I have to first forgive myself.

I tend to think back on those mistakes and then dwell on them for far to long, leading to me death-spiraling. I've made some great memories with the people here, but I struggle to let myself enjoy the good times, because of the bad.

Until I feel like I can move past this, I'm hesitant to return here. As such, I am now officially putting Sprocket and my other sideblogs on hiatus, something I should've done months ago.

Blog by blog, here's the projected possibility of me returning to my muses here:

@scarletwingedking, Sprocket the Koraidon Sprocket was my first muse here. He'll probably stay the same if I do come back, but he is so synonymous with me as a mun I worry he won't exactly get back off the ground.

@combattorque, Eri of Team Star Also unsure. If I do return to Eri, there's a high possibility I make her as a new account, but I don't know yet.

@tabletofruin, Wo-Chien Likely will not be returned to anytime soon.

@jamminsalmonjunction, Multimuse, Splatoon Salmonid OCS, and @serpentsofire, Duelmuse, Ibushi and Narwa from Monster Hunter These two blogs are not Pokemon ones, so I might remake these as seperate accounts and return to them sooner than the others.

I'm not leaving Tumblr Roleplay entirely though. I have been active on another blog, and if you're up for crossover threads, or just want to still see my writing, you can find me on @shellofdenial, writing Marie from Persona 4 Golden. I might also make a new account for a Pokemon muse that is different from the ones I already play, in an attempt at a 'new start'.

I don't have much else to say. I just want all of you to keep being awesome, and live your lives to the fullest.

"Wrap? What's a wrap? Are you going to wrap me up in a sheet like a burrito? Sprocket doesn't trust strangers to do that to him... Only close friends!"

Though, to answer your question, he would probably like a wrap. He's just never seen one before.

"Gee, I meant no offense, Sir; 'course you can, it's just, uh.... we don't want you getting stuck up there," Columbo explained, a hand running through his curly brown hair. "Boy, I bet that'd be real tough, stuck up in a tree. You'd gotta be a real good jumper not to have to worry about that, Mr. Sprocket."

"Don't worry, Sprocket is great at jumping and climbing! Sprocket is fine up here!"

He sticks his tongue out playfully, chirping. Seems he's enjoying the attention, at least. "I'm sure if you could climb and jump like Sprocket you'd love it up here too!"

"Why would you need to run when you have wheels?"

"Wheels? What wheels? Sprocket doesn't have wheels. Sprocket has legs, so Sprocket uses them!"

He puffs up his throat pouch and struts around, showing off.

"These ones." He confirms with a nod before rumbling, "These are not crossbred, they won't be spicy."

And there he goes before Akiva even finishes speaking, but the Miraidon doesn't mind. "Good?"

He looks back at Akiva, somewhat guiltily. "...Sorry... Sprocket didn't want to dissappoint you by not trying it," he admits, pawing at the ground.

"But yes! It's good! Sprocket likes sweet!"

@detectiveanddog roared: "Well, at least you're out of the tree."

"What? Is Sprocket not allowed to be up in the tree?" Who said he couldn't? He's confused.

"Though Sprocket would rather be up on a rock then a tree," he adds. "Warmer, and Sprocket can see better."

"Sprocket can't go home, I'm a vagabond," Sprocket huffs, pawing at the ground. "A victim of wanderlust, and other's loyalties..."

He was never supposed to be here, dragged away from home by people who never sympathized. Mari seemed to be the only one who understood him.

"But I guess... Adventure calls. And yet some still run. Isn't that sad?" he ponders. "Sprocket is tired of running."

Akiva rumbles happily at seeing him so pleased. It's cute.

At the question, he hums before turning back to the bush behind him. "Mago berries are my favorite. They're super sweet but the ones that have red spots... it means they've been crossed with a spicy berry of some kind and those are amazing."

He peeks into the bush with Akiva, tilting his head. "These ones?" he asks, before taking one off the bush. Looks tasty enough, slick with sweet juice like a fig.

Though he does pause right before chomping into it. "...Spicy? Sprocket doesn't really like spicy. But this one isn't red."

Well, munchy time, either way. The Mago berry dissappears into his mouth, sugary juice dripping down Sprocket's chin.

"SPROCKET!"

He loves it. It's going on his trainer's fridge immediately. He gives Silva a big thank you lick.

Akiva is very much enjoying the fresh berries. They are delightful. He perks and looks at him with a smile, "I can see why, this is a wonderful spot, Sprocket."

He turns fully when the Koraidon brings over the berries, unable to keep the purr from escaping, "That so? Thank you, I'm sure they're delicious." One bite has his words confirmed as his tail wags.

He chuffs, puffing out his chest proudly. He's eager to impress, so Akiva's approval means a lot to Sprocket.

"Is there any berries you really like? Sprocket wants to try them!" he asks, tilting his head. This is how you make friends, right?
