I want to be a house wife

Something to keep me busy

So why does it cause me so much pain

Maybe it doesn't feel like enough

Maybe it's because I've always supported myself

But forever I've craved being taken care of

I always find myself in this place

Wanting to think of myself, wanting better

But when the world is unfair

When the weak and frail aren't seen as helpless

But ones to be left behind

What do I do

Do I just leave this world behind

Would that be better

Is that what everyone else has always wanted

When I just want to see them thrive

My love letter to the queer silver lining of 2020

A lot of revolutionary, unprecedented things happened in 2020 — that... goes without saying

But among all the chaos, one thing I can be grateful for was the surge of queer representation in western animation

I feel lucky to be alive in this time of change, and I’m also excited for the younger generation who gets to grow up with these explicitly queer shows

It gives me hope that this kind of representation will make it easier for them to figure things out :’)
