Shadow gasped theatrically as he saw the hickey on Allen's neck, both of his hands rising to cover his mouth, and his eyes going wide. "Oh, Allen, how could you!?"

Your character finds a hickey on my character’s neck. How does your character react?

“Wait…how could I what?” Allen frowned slightly. He knew Shadow was just being dramatic for the sake of being dramatic and silly and he should probably not take this seriously…but he did he miss a memo somewhere or something?

Shadow simply pointed at the hickey on Allen’s neck, his eyes starting to water a little as he ramped up his acting a little.

“How could you, Allen? Am I not enough for you? Am I such a bad partner that you need another person on the side? DON’T YOU LOVE ME?!” He sobbed.

A puzzled and increasingly considered Allen put a hand on his neck and…oooh, that would explain things. He almost wanted to laugh; Shadow picked an excellent thing to overreact too and, man, he was really good at acting upset about this! 

“No! No no no no, of course I love you!” Allen wrapped an arm around Shadow. He was more than willing to go along with his neko friend but it was difficult to hold back at smile at the silliness. “You’re all I ever needed!”

“Well yes, they didn’t hide it well, but it’s not like they admitted it to themselves or anyone. It’s a secret to everyone~!” He stuck his tongue out. “And I’m sure you could use black magic to heal as well if you put your mind to it. Or you could at least apply it to healing. Adjusting fire magic to simply produce heat to help soothe pulled muscles, using ice magic to ice wounds to help stop inflammation and to keep them clean… if you put your mind to it, a lot of possibilities can open up.”

Shadow raised an eyebrow a little. “If you say so. Sorry for not having seen it, my parents were pretty strict about age ratings, and the first one came out before I was born. And by the time I was old enough, I was living on the streets and stealing to survive. And I just never got around to it.” He shrugged, stretching a little.

“Well technically, black magic is evil magic so it shouldn’t be able to heal since healing is a kind, good act. Buuuut, I suppose you could use mild versions of black magic spells to recreate methods of healing…which really is just like black magic to have loop holes for this sort of thing…” Allen pondered out loud. It took him a few moments to realize he rambled but once he realized, Allen promptly and sheepishly apologized. 

As for the sad tale about the lack of Jurassic Park, Allen nodded along to the story. It was a pretty reasonable explanation as far as Allen was considered. “Fair enough. But I’ll make sure you get around to watching. Trust me, it’s a great movie and a good series. After all, what can be better than dinosaurs?”

“Oh my, a science pun?” Shadow smirked widely. “A chemist once tried to tell me a joke, but it was too formulaic, and it failed to get a reaction~” He removed his moustache. “And yes, I always carry around a few fake moustaches, just in case of puns or a need to disguise myself. Figured they might be able to help me out in case things get hairy.” He stuck his tongue out as he put the moustache away.

Oh geez, Allen was smiling so much at these puns that his face was starting to hurt. He chuckled a bit, especially at the small mustache pun, “it is aaamazing that you take puns this seriously. I’m impressed.”
