__φ(。。) Like I said one day; finally here are the... concept art? of the different outfits I was thinking for Palette!:

For some reason, at first I thought of him a lot as a "stellar knight". I don't know why I got so attached to having blue gloves.

And then the outfit resembles a penguin

And this was the first time I drew it after 4 years! I thought of this outfit to be more adventurous. I wanted to keep some of his old clothes as much as possible but as you saw, they progressively went away (ノ*°▽°*)

That's all the best I can show you, since they were the main designs I thought of (and because the rest were sketches). If you want to draw Palette on any of them, you can do so, they are all fine! ⸜( *ˊᵕˋ* )⸝

But these are not the base outfit I currently draw him with ˙꒳˙

This is an idea that occurred to me one day. In an alternative line, the best ending Nightmare would have is to die, after redeeming himself. The guardian position that he had is free and Palette ends up being the best option for that position (by decision of others). I like the idea because it explores the conflicts Palette has about his sense of responsibility and whether he can take care of it; and doubt if he wants to be guardian of something so specific. After all, Palette has the personality to be ''the light in the midst of darkness'', just like a star does. The clothes are artistic more than anything. I thought it was more similar to Ink's but with a ''dreamy'' touch („• ֊ •„)

Note: (The little balls in his hand are canon: It's one of his responsibilities. They are ''wishes'' that monsters and humans make; the yellow ones are simple and the blue ones are more important. They shake, tinkle and you can hear a voice saying the wish. Palette goes around trying to fulfill those wishes.)
