This right here is why references are so important. I completely mocked up this scene in Blender, but the clothing on the character model didn't behave like real cloth, so the folds were either inaccurate or nonexistent. I did my best to "invent" the folds, but they just didn't look right, so I shot a quick reference photo with my phone on a tripod with a timer. The results were much better. Always shoot reference, even if you feel silly doing it. Even if you think you look dumb. I hate this photo of me, with my stupid bald head, but it doesn't matter. All that matters is the information you get from a real-world reference.

Remember the Shepard Fairey "Hope" poster? Long story short, he used an AP photo of Barack Obama as a direct reference for his illustration without purchasing a license to use the photo or even attributing the photographer. He made a lot of money off it, but also lost a ton of money after AP filed an infringement lawsuit. This is one of the reasons I'm officially taking a hard stance against AI-generated images, without exception. I’ve stayed largely silent up to this point, but no more. Services like Midjourney and Stable Diffusion obtain images from internet searches and use those images, without the artists' permission, to "train" their AI software. They then charge people money to use that AI to generate style-specific images, giving neither money nor attribution to the artists from which they've stolen. It's why Getty Images banned AI on their site; because they know at its core, AI art is theft. Period.
