Scattergoods are a specialist Catering & Hospitality Agency, fulfilling Client requirements by finding & supplying staff to various Catering & Hospitality sites around the local area. Clients include Business and Industry contracts, NHS and County Councils, Restaurants, Private Schools, Residential Homes, Conference Centres, Golf Clubs and Event Caterers.
The role:
Delivering excellent customer service to our already-large portfolio of Clients
Registering Candidates consisting of face to face interviews
Relationship building/maintaining to both Candidates & Clients
Checking applicant responses, replying to candidates as required
Going the extra mile to deliver first class customer service, to clients and candidates
A long established business, we are looking for a charismatic addition to our already successful & motivated team.We are based in Shalford (just outside Guildford); we have street parking available.
Working hours:
Core hours are Monday to Fridays with very occasional Saturday mornings, 8 per year which are paid as overtime.
Our offices are open from 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, so hours vary according to our shift patterns. Hospitality Recruitment is not a 9am to 5pm industry, and some additional hours may be required during busy periods.

Previous experience working within a busy, fast-paced office would be a distinct advantage, together with some working knowledge of the catering industry.

Increase in National Minimum Wage
An increase in National Living Wage and Minimum Wage is to be made on 1st April 2017. This applies for all working people. This will be set at £7.50 per hour. Scattergoods welcome this increase in minimum hourly rates for the National Minimum Wage
In addition to this increase we are able to confirm that no Agency Workers employed by Scattergoods Agency no matter what their age, will be paid less than the new National Living Wage.
No Wage reductions for younger workers
There will be no reduction from the National Living Wage hourly rates for those workers under the age of 25 years.
Younger workers are expected generally to perform the same duties to the same standards and requirements as older workers, and there is generally no allowance made due to age, against duties required. Therefore all less than 25 years of age workers of Scattergoods Agency should morally receive and will be paid the same hourly rate as older workers are legally entitled to receive from April 2017.
Scattergoods remains committed to a policy of a fair wage for work done and will continue its policy of paying above the statutory Living and Minimum Wage thresholds
