Despite the heat that rested upon the air only hours before, the fall of night now stirred with gentle caresses the wind to breathe chill sighs between the bones of nearby skeleton's hands and sent the curtains of her window a flutter. Always had she left her window open on those summer nights, so that her room would be illuminated in the coppery light of the celestial bodies above and filled with the scent of a rotting corpse. A deep inhale broke the silence between her and her beloved preceptor. The ethereal luminescence of the melting pearl outside gave his hoary hues a golden glow. Handsome. To say the least, and suddenly she missed the feel of his callused hand against her cheek and the way her ears tickled when he spoke to her. The strands of her hair tousled by the soft wind by the window. The world seemed slow; the glow in her eyes dimming, an out of body experience where everything no longer felt real to her, but the radiance of sincere joy never ceased to dust off her visage. Somehow she felt solace in being the only ones awake. Somehow they were still able to have nice conversations, deep, despite the lust of their relationship.
"Thank you again, for teaching me the right way!~"
