Yesterday I just wanted to make something small. Something that doesn’t take much time, but is fun. Sometimes that happens…

so I decided that I definitely need a new set of potholders, and because I’m a nerd, they had to be comic related. Since I just love Deadpool, it was clear pretty quickly, that I had to do his logo.

It was as always, I dove into my yarnbox, grabbed some basic cotton yarn in the right colors (it is sold here as “Topflappengarn” in stores - potholder yarn) and just started improvising.

As I wanted a pair of potholders I wrote down what I did to make the 2nd one at least similar to the first one. When number 1 was finished, I put it up on my instragram and facebook, where a friend suggested to polish up my “pattern”, add some pics and offer it in my ravelry store.

so I did!

they are not perfect. They are not exactly round and I am not sure, if anyone but me really understands what I meant in the pattern but well… if you want to try making your own: Be my guest (and post pics, ‘cause I’m curious)
