Sheep of the week #1-#4

October is over and so are the OCtober prompts. Before I started the challenge (and joined this site) I used to draw a sheep every week. I decided to upload them here as well.

OCtober day 28 - Inspiration

A big inspiration for Fafried was the character Basil from Omori. I actually never played the game, just watched parts of a Let's Play, but I really liked Basil (And the track 'It means everything', what a banger!)

Fafried shares a lot of elements with Basil (Hair, Flowers, Apron), but not intentionally. After I finished the design it somehow felt familiar, and I realized I used a lot of elements that Basil shares.

OCtober day 27 - Redesign

For today I decided to redesign Charly, a character I drew ages ago.

She really loves aliens and always wears a costume. I don't remember anything else about her...

OCtober day 18 - Scary

Hrimir struggels at school alot, which usually ends with trouble at home. At first I found the idea pretty funny, but now after drawing I feel pretty bad for the little guy...

The kids taking a break after playing. Even the wildest child can look like an angel when they sleep!

This is also the first time I drew Throne and Fafried directly next to each other and I realized how bothersome their wings must be...

Tried the given colour palette. I'm not too happy with the result...

OCtober day 11 - Skills

The wings are not just decoration! - Throne is really proud of her ability to fly, because most children her age still struggle with it.

OCtober day 10 - Themes/Symbolism

For this prompt I chose to show Lucy in the sea surrounded by fish. I often pair her with the image of water/big lonely spaces and fish. I'm not sure why fish, but they feel fitting for the character.

OCtober day 7 - home

For this day I chose Levis home. I drew parts of it years ago in a comic and chose to show the whole room.

Levi is a character that's always up to something without taking a break to reconsider or plan things through, so she always felt to me like the type of person that can't keep her things in order.

OCtober day 6 - relationship

Day 6 of @bweirdart s OCtober. Today I had barely any time, so I had to rush the picture. It still turned out pretty cute I think!

OCtober day 5 - underappreciated OC

I chose Hrimir for day 5 of @bweirdart s OCtober prompt. Hrimir is a young ice giant with a lot of energy and low patience. I like his design, but only used him once so far

OCtober - day 4 (Sona/Self-Insert)

Day 4 of OCtober by @bweirdart! I don't have any real Sonas/SIs, so I drew Lucy as I used her for a few Comics inspired by real experiences and the bunny from my old profile picture.

OCtober day 3 - fav OC

I chose Levi for this prompt. Back then I tried a lot of different OCs for my comics, and telling stories with her was the most fun and made me realize how much I like silly and kinda stupid characters.

OCtober day 1 - new OC

My newest OC! His name is Fafried and he's a sweet little dragon boy that never stopps yapping about everything that comes to his mind!
