Look, we all know this is true. But there isn't a SOURCE for this, and the graph itself is basically illegible beyond "ooh colors". If we want to be good stewards of our informational resources, we need to cite our sources.

From a reverse image search, I found the website Show Your Stripes, run by the University of Reading in the UK, which is likely where the above graph originated. It provides temperature data for various regions of the world from approximately 1900-2025. For example, here are graphs for Canada, India, and Papua New Guinea:

All clearly show a sharp rise in temperature beginning around approximately the 1980s, which corresponds with the graph in OP's post. But now we know where this data came from, and we can verify its validity accordingly.

One of the LiS directors, Silas Howard, posted this on his stories today (8/10/26). Thank you to @mal454 for sharing this on the subreddit! They're definitely prepping for the pool scenes in episodes 3 and 4 😄

The LiS subreddit is trash so I'll make a post here instead [if you do share this on Reddit, please credit me]: I think I know where this is located... St. George's School in Vancouver. These photos from their public website and Instagram match up pretty well with the red and white pennants, red and white lane dividers, red stripe of paint, and the record board on the back wall.

I don't know if the LiS show crew is only using the pool or the entire campus for filming, but if they are using the rest of the school, this could be our Blackwell Academy! It works out well because St. George is a K-12 private boys' school (which matches Blackwell's weird senior-only setup), and unlike most universities in Vancouver, it's currently empty for summer break and ideal for filming. Plus, it's stunning, and I can easily imagine key scenes from LiS taking place here (publicly accessible photos from here):

Don't give me that "Rhaenyra the cruel" "the crown drove her mad" she's possessed by Maegor ahhh reasons. She was, from season 1, capable of getting what she wanted. She was drawn to DAEMON always. And supported his acts despite the fraction of second where she would confront him and act mighty. She was always capable of cruelty.

"Alicent paid the price multiple times to let Helaena be released" Alicent absolutely tried everything. Killing her own sons and handing over the city for little miss but Rhaenyra is like "i can't do anything about it im helpless" Miss girl, you're calling yourself queen??

Rheanyra didn't fucking flinch when Helaena died. She just picked up the prophecy embroidery and was angry about the consequences to come cause Alicent def will question her. The smallfolk will give her a reality check.

Aegon is much safer to Helaena than Rhaenyra. (Fuck you)

I hate that nobody is addressing how she made Kingsguard "force feed" Helaena. It was absolutely disgusting to watch. I wonder if it took Helaena back to the moment Blood and cheese had grabbed her and forced her to out Jaehaerys. Her bloody son didn't die long ago and her next son was already the target. Alicent was AWAY! Helaena had no one. No ONE!

"mysaria drove Helaena to her death" no, Mysaria gave Helaena the truth of Rheanyra. She told her what would happen. And Helaena had already been suing the pattern of her own death into the cloth. And Helaena saw the "chariot with horse and doors opening" dream happen when getting back inside from gardens. (Which I think was something of a sign like it was Helaena's time to go. Or heaven doors or some shit but that's just my interpretation!) Helaena was already crying in the gardens too. Very similar to someone who thinks of their parents, children and loved ones' fate after their suicide.
