Missing
I look at myself today and I've come to realize that I Iost creativity on the way here.
Maybe it's school, maybe it's insecurity, maybe it's stress, maybe it's everything. I'm not really sure exactly where and how I lost it but what I do know is I need to get it back.
It's all I really have.

Judging by my lack of posts it must be quite obvious that I am not a serial blogger, and yet here I am. A sad excuse for a blogger but a blogger none the less! So I shall begin 2013 a month later for schizophrenic colors by continuing to pay my dues! Or in this case my 30 day art challenge sans the 30 day part (pretty obvious now)!

Sorry for the lack of posts and the 30 day challenge (sans the 30 day part) that has been rendered useless. I've been swamped with so much school work that I haven't really had time to do some personal work.

So I decided to go with photo manipulation for my second challenge. It was the first time I did anything like this and I love it! All the stitching, painting, drawing and sticking got me hooked :D I printed this photo of Ezra Miller in print shop on A3 paper and I got to work!
I chose Ezra Miller because he’s an intelligent, talented and eccentric being. Plus he looks mighty fine :3
I think I will definitely keep doing this medium. It was fun and raw; a little bit like finger painting back in preschool :D
30 day challenge || challenge 1 || self-portrait

So I just started my art challenge today! Yay for starting!
Challenge numero uno happens to be a drawing/artwork of oneself.
...
For those who don't know me, self-portraits just happen to be the subject I disdain the most. It is my Waterloo.
Hence the challenge. But as of this moment everything is still going peachy. I haven't thrashed the piece of wood in frustration just yet :) yay! achievement!
So it's pretty much on its way there :P (Ugh my face haha)
I'm done with the sketch, now I'll just have to paint it. I'm pretty apprehensive of painting it only because I haven't painted in such a long time, which only means there's a greater chance of screwing this up :P
Oh well. It isn't a challenge for nuthin!
I have a fault
and that is I haven't been paying much attention to this blog :| I blame it on chronic laziness!
In an effort to jumpstart this blog again I will try to do this drawing/art challenge! sans the 30 day part...
Though I'll be adding a few rules to it, just for my own sake:
1. I have to make it a finished art piece, one that is worthy of posting
2. I have to try/learn something new in the process (be it a new subject or medium)
3. I HAVE TO SCAN/TAKE A PHOTO OF THE FINISHED WORK AND POST IT! - this is apparently the most important of the three :P
Maybe I'll even post process shots? (most probably not :|)
But all in all hopefully I can do this and finish the challenge!
