On staying sane:

If you do everything through the outline and write a thesis, it should really only take you like maybe an hour tops to write the essay. It takes me like 20 minutes but i also write like the fucking devil. So do the outline the day you get the assignment, it will make this whole thing a little less daunting. 

Don’t ever be afraid to talk to the teacher. If you have anxiety, email is also a really great option because you can easily attach a draft or ideas for the teacher to look over. 

If the essay isn’t due for a couple of days, it is totally okay to just stop and go to bed. The breather can help and writing under stress just makes it harder. If you really have to get the essay done right now, know that this is the structure I use to whip out entire A-grade essays in 30 minutes, if you have a fire under your ass it goes really fast

Sometimes we really just can’t do it. Don’t make a habit of it, but it’s okay to not give your all every single time (see the third slide)
