So I've had no exams (and if there was no pandemic I would've finished my exams by now anyways) so I've actually kind of missed studying lmao .. then I realised I've been slacking a lot on my French so I finally decided (after 2 months of quarantine) to start studying it again! I've started with verb practise and Quizlet french vocab; I hope I keep it up. Also, I've neglected my bullet journal for a really long time now, and with me trying to put some structure into my life I've finally found use for it again :)

black holes being the terrifying thing that they are and casually shattering all sense of manās hubrisĀ whilst ALSO just outright REFUSING to be knowable is honestly just very iconic and sexy of them

today's action: i finished watching 13th today, and it really opened my eyes to new aspects and history of the us prison / criminal justice system. even if you think you have a good grip on these issues, you can definitely learn a lot from this. i really encourage all of you to watch it, it does a phenomenal job of presenting a lot of important yet tragic information on what black americans have faced and face today.
might let loose and accomplish a task this week

also celebrate George Floydās life. he was truly a beautiful, kind, and caring individual. i wish his family so much healing and that they get the justice they deserve.
George Floyd campaigned against gun violence among adolescents, he campaigned for peace. He was loving and he was kind. Donāt let his memory be defined by the last moments of his life. Donāt let his memory be defined by the man who murdered him.
he worked as security for a club, and multiple people have said that he was kind and gentle, literally a gentle giant, and knew well how to deescalate issues. all the pictures i've seen of him and people who knew him keep saying... he was a genuinely kind human.
anyways. may his memory be a blessing. rest in power, george floyd.
getting approached by an animal that wants you to pet them is such a magical feeling. like they saw you and went "yeah there's love in there"

āāļø iām so excited about the future rn, and i consider it a miracle considering how depressed i was. i still get bouts of crippling anxiety and helplessness from time to time, because lifeās still so unpredictable, but iām coping so much better. there are things iām looking forward to now. things that make me happy. it doesnāt seem like it when youāre at your lowest, but it does get better.

Hereās my first contender for new ways of setting up my week! I definitely like having the little full-month calendar, and I think that the overall weekly to-do list may grow on me. Thereās not a huge amount of space to decorate, but there definitely is some, and I think Iām happy with it. Starting off strong.
For Latin, Iāve headed into the first week of slightly harder poems to read. Still enjoying it! And Iām definitely able to recognize a few more grammatical constructions than I was at first.
