The progression of me watching S7
It’s Theory time,
Alright guys, hear me out!
Keith has always had problems with controlling his emotions and trying to express them,
Keith was refering himself for being a hot head, for snapping at people for being selfish.
Here he was referring that maybe he was like that because his mom left him.
Someone very important to him, someone he thought had abandoned him. As a result it made him close off,
it made him isolated,
it made him a lone wolf.
And you know who has been going that route?
Has been closed off,
Isolating himself,
And becoming a lone wolf,
Lance.
Lance has been feeling like that, Lance has been feeling a void inside him, and it all was when Keith left. Lance gets frustrated because he doesn’t know why he is so upset,
Keith being left by someone important made him snap at people when it affected him in a way,
And you know who else seems to do that,
Now let me stop you right here.
There’s two things we need to make clear.
1)This is not shipping or pairing Klance on purpose, I’m going to be talking about their friendship. It’s not my fault their dynamic, their paths always connect.🤷🏻♀️
2) Keith’s mom leaving and Keith leaving Lance is two different dynamics.
Krolia and Keith are mother and son, while Lance and Keith are best friends. They’re both very important.
They both affect people, and more if those two people had gone through something personal.
Moving on now, Lance has had to have those feelings, that void inside him for a long time because you don’t just snap at someone like that for no reason and mostly when they aren’t even talking to you.
Keith was snapping, but it wasn’t at Lance, it was at Allura and Hunk. There was no reason what so ever for Lance to get involve, unless he had something bottled up.
Lance didn’t know why he was feeling a void, he was confused, but after being out in the open for so long, being with his own thoughts, now he knows,
Lance was affected for Keith leaving, for Keith running away. Lance didn’t just lose a team mate, he lost his best friend, It made him lonely,
And like I said, It had to affect real bad if he snapped at Keith like that, not once, but twice.
Keith respects Lance, he really does. Keith listens to him, he cares what Lance has to say. Lance saying Keith ran away, was nothing but the truth. Keith did run away from the team, because he was scared of getting to close to them.
But more importantly, Keith wanted to protect them. Keith wanted to give Voltron a good leader and at that moment, Keith knew he wasn’t the one. He was already contemplating in leaving or separating himself for a while, but he took that decision when Lance went to talk to him.
Lance was right, at the moment there were six paladins, but there were only five lions. Someone had to step down.
and Lance was going to be the one to do it.
But Keith was honest to God confused. Why would Lance want to step aside if he is talented af. Keith knows it, and that’s why he’s like, “What are you talking about?”
Lance is speaking the truth. They needed to make someone step aside and it had to be between Lance and Allura since, the Black lion was Shiro’s and the Red lion was Keith’s. Either Lance or Allura would have to step down. They would all have to pick who would stay,
(Or in this case leave)
and who did Lance pick,
and who did Keith chose?
Guys this is a slap in the face, look, Lance did not once thought of taking Red from Keith, he even said it,
“You’re going to want your Red lion back.” He never called Red his lion. Red was Keith’s and Lance didn’t want to take it away from him,
and now read what he said about Blue and Allura,
Lance was really thinking about taking Blue from Allura,
Allura and Blue had been progressing a lot faster than Lance and Blue were. It was because Blue and Allura had a connection and Lance and Red had one too, but Lance didn’t want to admit it because he was thinking about Keith.
So at the end, Lance chose Keith. Lance decided to step aside for Keith to have Red.
After Lance and Keith were had their conversation, Keith had to make a decision, he had to chose to stay and leave Lance in Red and Shiro in Black or kick Allura out and what did he do?
Keith picked Lance. Keith decided to back down for Lance to have Red.
Keith saw the connection Red and Lance had. Keith knows Red, he road with him for a good while. They were really close. Red wouldn’t pick Lance if he wasn’t worthy and so, Keith started stepping aside.
Hunk said it himself,
Keith quite Voltron to help them from the sides,
pause,
Keith left to protect the people he most loved,
but he hasn’t told the team yet the team doesn’t know that. They think he left because he wanted to.
but no, he left for them. He left to protect the team, but most importantly, he left to protect Lance,
that’s why Keith gets more hurt with Lance when he says that,
Keith needs to talk to the team and he needs to fix things with Lance. Face to face, without running away. They need to talk and Lance needs to understand why Keith left.

Hawks: * helps Endeavor *
Hawks: Welp, we just need to stop the bleeding and call someone out cause I can’t move.
Dabi: ENDEAVOR, I’VE COME TO BARGAIN
Boku no Hero Academia - Chapter 190
Damn that new chapter is filled with so much action, emotions, development and surprises that I can’t really decide on which point I want to start first!?
Maybe I am starting with the recap of the Todoroki family issue. I wrote about a possible Endeavour redemption arc a bit father down my tumblr and I think that’s where I wanted to start off.
Part I - Shoto’s path to forgiveness
A lot of people in the fandom still claim, that Shoto and his siblings might never forgive him for all the abuse and stress Endeavour put them through and considering how we saw him and his relationship at least with Shoto in the beginning of the manga and the arc with Eri’s rescue that opinion seems not that far fetched but the recent chapter shows a very big growth on the repairing relationship between Shoto and his father.
When Endeavour is fighting and giving his all, about to go down, maybe even die during that fight we see Shoto calling him ‘Dad’ for the first time in forever. He seems downright shaken, terrified of the idea that there is a possibility that he might die and he screams from the top of his lungs in hope that his father might hear him, that he’s watching him. Even though he knows that Endeavour can’t hear him from where he is right now, Shoto still feels the need to show his support. Remember, he’s in the common room with his classmates, keeping up with the news and instead of silently thinking to himself that he’s there he is very vocal about him watching. It’s a big sign of support as I said as well as aknowledgement for Endeavour being his father. He doesn’t call him his hero name or ‘That man’ or whatever impersonal shit, no. He calls him ‘Dad’ and that alone shows how shaken he is. That he still sees him as important enough, as a member of his family. That he still cares for him despite the things he had to endure during his childhood. For me, that’s a sign that he is trying to forgive him and move forward.
Another moment that underlines my rambling, that Shoto is on his way to forgive his father or rather move forward is, that after the news reporter announced that Endeavour came out as the fight’s winner, still standing - not! Still living, Shoto falls down to his knees, his hands folded in a silent prayer, relieved that his father is still alive. When you’re zooming in you can make out what looks like small tears in his eyes, one stray tear even rolling down his left cheek. That boy, a boy that was abused and drilled beyond his breaking point, treated like a project rather then a human being, is able to forgive his own childhood nightmare enough to cry for him in relief. I think that’s so heartwarming and beautiful… There is hope!
Part II - Endeavour’s path to becoming a better hero
The secong part of my post is about Endeavour’s development. A lot of people don’t think that he will change so drastically in one arc because of all the bullshit he pulled those past years, and they are right in a sense. Because I think it takes a lot more then 20 something chapters for him to redeem himself, but I think it’s a big step towards becoming a better man, a better hero.
The reason I think that there is still a big development for Endeavour in this arc is because of what he himself says during this chapter.
When he fights the Nomou Endevaour says, that the Nomou is manufactured and obsessed with power, just like the past him or the him from an alternate universe. And he wants to beat that thing so bad and I don’t think it’s just because it’s a threat to the civillians around them but because it’s like he’s looking at his refletction in a mirror. That Nomou is a monster, obsessed with fighting, destroying, not giving a shit about the people around him only focused on being victorious and that’s so much like the old Endeavour we see in the Hero killer arc for example. During that Arc Endeavour chased some Nomou’s and didnt give a shit about wether he destroyed the streets or the buildings as he walks around Hosu City to chase that beast. No. He’s walking around with his boots on fire, melting everything where he walks, kinda like he’s showing off his power.
But in this chapter, he tries to cause as little damage as possible to keep the citizens safe and the town intact. Hakws points it out himself, that Endeavour fights as high in the air as possible to keep the damage at minimum. Up in the air he doesn’t need to worry about other people or buildings, he can fire his blasts off at maximum power. So he learned from his mistakes and tries to make it better.
Part III - Suprise, Surprise
As a lot of you know, I’m a sucker for conspiracy theories and sometimes I do put some of my random thoughts on here and I do like to indulge into the fandom and it’s theories and one of my most favourite ones is the one where Dabi is the last Todoroki child.
And what exactly happens at the end of this chapter, leaving us with a big fat cliffhanger? Suprise motherfuckers. it’s Dabi in da house… Coming around right after Endeavour’s big fight! Boom bitch!
If it would’ve been any other arc I might go with the idea of that being a random coincidence but it’s the Endeavour redemption arc where we got to meet one of his other children Natsuo, learn a bit about his past with Rei Todoroki and his first steps towards a better relationship with his wife.
Throwing Dabi into this can’t be a coincidence and I can see fans screaming, crying and cheering that they were right about the ‘Dabi is a Todoroki - fight me’ shit and boy am I excited for next week! I feel like crying right now if that’s really true because that means we get to see more of their past, more on why Dabi looks the way he looks, maybe even his real name and imagine all the pictures of young Dabi without all those scars… I am literally fangirling right now!
What was your highlight from this week’s chapter?
Literally every“Dabi is a Todoroki” theorist after chapter 190
This better not be a cruel joke Mr. Hori
My body is ready, Horikoshi
Guess the “entering at the right moment to look badass” runs in the family
If the “Dabi is a Todoroki” theory gets comfirmed I might just climb onto my roof and scream at the top of my lungs in excitement.
Me when dabi appeared out of nowhere at the end of chapter 190 to confront endeavor, basically confirming the dabi is a todoroki theory:
Me after 190
chapter 82: kana shinaaa todoroki shouto
nearly 100 chapters later: kana shinaaa endeavor
dabi really be out here mock pitying his whole fam thats some bde
I hate my current thought process.
wow I love seeing all the Todoroki siblings in the same chapter !
“nice to meet you” shut up I refuse to believe that Dabi is anything but a Todoroki
BNHA 190, More Like...
Dabi’s really out here about to pull ALL them receipts
HOLLLLLYYYYY SHIIIIIIIIIT HOLLY SHIT HOLLY SHIT
I LITERALLY WAS SHOUTING THIS THE MOMENT I SAW THIS PANEL
I CAAAAAN’TTT AND THEN MY HEART WAS BEATING FAST WHILE I WENT FAST THROUGH THE PAGES TO SEE DABII
I SAW THIS AND I WAS LIKE—-
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD AND MY MOTHER THOUGHT I WENT CRAZY CAUSE A MINUTE AGO I REFUSED TO GET OUT OF BED AND NOW I’M SCREAMING!!
AND THIS-!!!

THIS IS THE FUCKIN’ FIRST TIME I GET THIS EXCITED OVER THIS MANGA AND MY CAPS ARE ON SINCE MY FIRST WORD AND UGHHH
*After chapter 190*
Dabi: -its nice to meet you, I guess Endeavor.
Endeavor:……….
Endeavor:Son?
Dabi:…….shit, was my eye liner not strong enough.
Endeavor: Oh my god it is you, Everytime I ground you, you disappear and come back as something else, last time you said you joined a Mariachi band. I grounded you again for this stupid “Despacito” thing, then you disappear for years and now your a villain!? Your in your twenties now when will you be getting out of this childish rebellious phase—
Dabi: *fixing mascara* It’s NOT A PHASE DAD!!!
Dabi & Endeavor: *Arguing*
