10 questions I’ve been asking myself lately
1) Is consciousness a product of matter, or is matter a product of consciousness?
2) Without anyone to observe it, would the universe still exist?
3) Should we spend time trying to find a god, if scientific tools are insufficient, religions can only give reassuring answers, and philosophy can only hint and produce more questions?
4) Could my mind shape reality as much as reality shapes my mind?
5) If all life forms, even plants, show signs of some kind of basic and primitive intelligence, then conscious thought is not the source of intelligence. Therefore, what is the source of intelligence?
6) Is memory the result of time, or is time a product of memory?
7) Is increasing chaos the only and basic order of the universe?
8) If any life path eventually leads to the same ending, what is the purpose of freedom of choice?
9) Do choices define who we are, or does our nature define our choices?
10) Is maternal instinct something real, or is it just a cultural feature that we’ve been passing on through generations?
[Note: My sole intent is to share these questions. I’m not looking for answers from others, so don’t feel compelled to reply.]

Eagles over head. Ducks and ducklings in the cat tails. Small sparrows with head and body white in evening light. Turtles baking in that spring sunset. The first (real) sign that summer is approaching. Could only be Lake Washington PNW.
What other organisms are part of the eco-system? What insects are scuttling and fleeing around? Which alien plants are disrupting the competition?
Am trying to identify which tree was growing this in the middle of the estuary.

Aries: “Tell me any place you want a one-way ticket to and I´ll buy it.”
Taurus: “One day has 24 hours and if that´s not enough for studying, use the night, too."
Gemini: “I honestly don´t care whether you come to my lessons or not, I´m getting paid anyways.”
Cancer: “Of course you can join my course next year; you don´t annoy me.”
Leo: *reads out the school rules* “…furthermore you are not allowed to eat or drink in the classroom.” *looks at coffee mug in his hand* “Well, f*ck it, whatever.”
Virgo: “I´m sorry, I didn´t manage to correct your essays; I spent the whole weekend binge-watching TV-series.”
Libra: *looks at test I just handed in* “Oh, I´m sorry. Have a good day anyways.”
Scorpio: In linguistics class: “These guys, what are they called? You know, these guys who research languages. It´s on the tip of my tongue, dammit. Oh, yes, of course, I remember- linguists!”
Sagittarius: “OH NO, I´VE RUN OUT OF SNICKERS!”
Capricorn: “The rumour that there is a body buried in the school yard is completely false and I don´t know where it comes from. There is no body buried in the school yard.”
Aquarius: “Will you learn this damn tense, or do I have to get my squeaky toy?”
Pisces: *gives me back my test* “You do plan on studying for the next one, though, don´t you?”
