Made this for a friend & thought I would post it here as well. This CSS will hide hits, bookmarks, and kudos (your own & everyone else's) on AO3.

Why would someone want to hide stats? It can help if you fall into the comparison trap or if stats make you anxious. Or maybe you prefer *not* to see hits/kudos/bookmarks when you're deciding what to read, because you don't want them to bias your choices. It doesn't matter the reason!

To hide stats for hits/bookmarks/kudos, add this to your site skin (go to My Dashboard -> Skins -> My Site Skins):

.work .stats .bookmarks, .work .statistics .bookmarks, .work .stats .hits, .work .statistics .hits, .work .stats .kudos, .work .statistics .kudos { display: none; }

To hide comment counts too, add:

.work .stats .comments, .work .statistics .comments { display:none; }

Note: The comment count will still be displayed on the Comment button at the end of the work. Its ID is #show_comments_link if you want to hide it. This does not hide the comment form OR comments other people have left.

If you'd also like to hide the list of people who have left kudos at the end of a work, add this:

#kudos { display: none; }

Save your site skin and activate it. That should do the trick! Modify as needed.

Spock prime was so delighted (in his own Vulcan way of course) when he saw Bones after everyone got back to Earth. He was actually quite amused that Bones and Jim switched eye colors. He comments on it to Jim as they watch McCoy work himself to death at Starfleet General. They are there to drag the good doctor away from his work for food and to convince him to -

"Get some sleep Bones you look like heated up shit run over by a platoon of Klingons." (-Jim)

It's actually the ambassador who convinces him to rest.
