This oneshot would be in my Error and Lust are Friends series, so if you’ve read it that’s the characterization I’m working with (shameless self promo over)

Hyperfem: in this au, Lust is very much in colorful and queer fashion. He fucks with gender a lot through his self expression like makeup and clothes and it shows in his drag performances too. He strikes me as a guy that would get super in character, so a very colorful and peppy exploration of “traditional” femininity, which Barbie is just that turned up to 200. Ditzy and a little obsessed with herself, but smart and pretty enough that it doesn’t hold her back. I think that this character would volunteer for drag queen story hours and a lot of community events when she isn’t doing stand-up or lip syncing at local shows.

Jessica Rabbit: fits more with fanon interpretation (possibly canon too, I haven’t read it lol). From my (shaky) memory, Jessica was a very confident, flirtatious woman who was comfortable with her sexuality and loved her husband and friends. She was a born performer who used her sex appeal to capture her audiences attention. Lust could be very similar. He loves his friends so much. He loves performing and the attention that comes with it. The sexual appeal of this persona would make him feel powerful and strong in ways he couldn’t in his daily life. He might do more risque shows or he might stick to the semi family friendly comedy/lipsync shows in bars and nightclubs.

Either way, he’s well-known in his local scene and likes helping his fellow queens and kings, especially the younger ones like Dogaressa (send me ideas about her king name, pls, I’m so stuck on a name T^T)

I’m open to suggestions for characterization and names (please help), preferably a punny one because Sans. Poll’s staying up the rest of the week, give me a hand and I’ll do my best to get it out quick for pride!!

Okokok gonna try to keep this short n start with reaper cause i love him and i have so many hc about him. Reaper calls geno the opposite of how everyone else does. I pronuce his name gee-no, so reaper calls him geh-no, or vice versa for personal reference. Reaper is soooo lovesick. In canon i think hes jaded at love at first, but then falls in love with life and becomes happy yadayada- so whoever he falls for he falls HARRDDDD. Reapers also cocky asf, likes to see himself in good things n who he loves, but hes also insecure. He'd HATE to see how he used to be- jaded, cruel, angry- in someone he loves.

i dont focus on or think about him a lot, and idk much about his character or anything about his actual canon origins, but i think i p much view him how he's shown in cpau

i haven't really thought about him as a character very much honestly he's never been one of my Main Blorp Guys but this is opening up new potential for it ngl, he's mostly always been the silly cpau guy to me

i've never thought about him having a dark or troubled origin but it makes a lot of sense and i really like it, sucker for characters who hate who they used to be and don't know how to deal with those emotions

you are SO right about him being lovesick- i think he would be cocky and flirty but he would actually be super sappy and sweet in ways only geno notices

like yeah he bought him a huge array of flowers big enough to fill a room, but no one noticed they're arranged exactly like a flower field geno showed him pictures of and told him he wanted to lay in with him AGES ago when they were both sleep deprived, except for geno. like it's the little things.

and he won't make a point of that, he'll probably even deny it and just give a little knowing wink if anyone brings it up, but it's there. he's SO lovesick you're so right.
