In response to yesterday's election...

Well I honestly don't know what to say, we we're fucked regardless. We had a choice between an elite man who was upfront about his negative views towards other races/ethnicities and women. Like other men in power he's had his dealings with fraud and the objectification of women. On the other hand we had an elite woman who took the side of the party she was giving a speech to, meaning she was only interested in obtaining power. I mean she was backed up by the banksters, big oil, big pharma, and on the contrary she was pro GMOs. I understand people are upset about Trump winning the electoral votes, while Hillary won the popular vote, but that in itself is bullshit. Why does there need to be a buffer between the population voting for a candidate and having government cast a vote in favor of the populous? Honestly, why do they gotta make it so complicated that they use a different language? Try reading and understand a bill or law.

Personally, I think people have to stop with wanting a Democrat or Republican as president. As a person who voted for a third party ie "voting for Trump" you people need to do your research and stop listening to the mainstream media. Having two parties is so divisive in itself. I mean look what happened with Bernie Sanders, he decided to run as Democrat and his own party cheated him out and stopped a powerful movement because if he would've ran as a third party candidate he would not have gotten as much support and I feel that should not be the case. People need to understand that if this is a true democracy, then you should be able to vote for whoever the fuck you want regardless of party affiliation. Divide and conquer has been their best strategy and it has worked time and time again.

Aside from the tangent, I think people should look into what type of people and deals both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have been involved with in the past, besides what has been put out there by the mainstream media. People need to become curious and look behind the veil that's presented to us everyday. Think about this, if you don't like Trump for being a bigot and treating women like crap, why would you want someone like Hillary who rather defend her husband who assaulted multiple women and blamed the women rather than her husband. Isn't that a little contradictory for her whole spiel about women's rights, breaking barriers as the first woman president, ect. If anything that just shows how selfish she is and just how deep her lust for power goes. We need better candidates, candidates who are not criminals or power hungry. Regardless the president only has a certain amount of power over what goes on, if anything he is only the face of the country. Laws and legislature ultimately fall under the senate and do you even know who your senator is? or who represent you in the house of representatives for that matter?

Neither of them are my president! Fuck this systematic oppression that's been given the facade of democracy!
