The confusion only deepen for Lucas. Could the other not sense his magic? He was barely trying to hide it now, it should be obvious to him. Maybe he just has a different magic than him? Regardless, Lucas held up his hand for the other to see, and slowly willed bolts of lightening to run across the gaps of his fingers. As he begins to close his hand, the lightening became more active, reaching from his fingers to his palm faster until his whole hand bursts into flames. The flames danced for a few moments until he extinguished the flame when he closed his hand, not even leaving a mark on his skin. His little show was invisible to all but him, protecting them both from any unwanted attention.
Lucas thought that was proof enough. Being magic himself would hopefully indicate that he had no desire to prosecute the other. “Are you sure you’re okay?” He repeated after showing his own magic to the man. Lucas isn’t much of a healer, but he might be able to help the other fix his magic, which he still believed something was wrong with.
⊰ —Ⅲ— ⊱ "I'm fine," Trei bit out the last word with a little too much force, teeth gritted so tightly that his jaws ached from the effort. There wasn't anything wrong with him, per se. At least, not in his own knowledge. Ever since his escape, he's been living with the sudden bursts of magic that would fluctuate randomly, spiking whenever he was agitated or angry. It was like a living, breathing thing that responded to his emotions.
But he was also smart enough to catch the hint of what the other meant by his question. "What are you trying to ask here, really?" He growled, eyes narrowing as he witnessed the other's display of his own prowess. "Am I supposed to be knowing something? What? Get to the point."

It was a pretty cold day today, snow everywhere as Christmas slowly approached.”The day before Christmas Eve huh?” irritated at all the couples in the park she couldn’t even get near her favorite trees.”Stop being so sickening!” the fox shouted then headed off another direction only stopping when spotting the lit up Christmas tree on the other part of the park where the city decorated it.Standing in front of it she smiled a little before shivering as it began to snow again, she was wearing only a light blue dress down to her knees and a scarf.”Mother must be happy if it’s this cold.”
⊰ —Ⅲ— ⊱ To him, Christmas was the same as any other day. So was Christmas Eve, and the day before was no different to him. Perhaps the only change he felt between days were the fluctuating cold that made him miserable right down to his bones, his arms hugging around his middle to give him some semblance of cold. He had expected himself to be undisturbed as he chose a spot beneath a tree, but apparently fate decreed he would never have his way, even the simplest of things.
A young girl had approached -- not him, but rather for the tree, and started a monologue all by herself. A thin, silver brow arched in amusement; not at the way she spoke to herself, but rather, the way she was dressed. Did she not feel cold? Her feet didn't look frostbitten, at least from what he could tell. For now, Trei decided to quietly observe, occasionally letting his gaze wander so as to not seem like a creeper.
The Truth We Seek [Yuki x Trei]
Yuki liked to sit out on the balcony of the mansion, the moon and stars up above him like a celestial roof. It was calm and peaceful, slumber taking hold of everything—well mostly everything. A smile curled on his lips as he looked down at the fountain, water bubbling like a soothing lullaby as he closed his eyes and breathed in the scent of rich soil and the oncoming rain. He could get used to this he thought, though there was still the niggling feeling of sadness at having left his home. The same sorrow that filled him each night was once more surfacing though he could never figure out the reason for it. It was just there, like the beating of his heart it would always stay with him.
He turned quietly, feet leading him from the balcony to the hallway outside of his room. He wasn’t sure where he was going but he knew he just needed to get out, even if just for a minute or two. His fingers trailed along the painted hallways, smoothness soon giving way to a wooden banister as he walked down to the main room.
“Where are you going?” Yuki tensed before looking over his shoulder, Hotsuma eyeing him from entry of the kitchen.
“I can’t sleep, I figured a stroll might help.” He said softly, “I promise I’ll be safe, besides I’ve got Sodom with me,” he laughed gently as the little dragon popped out of the pocket on his jacket.
His words were met with a narrowed glare, an unspoken agreement between that had Yuki nodding his head before he opened the door. He hadn’t lied about where he was going… he just didn’t mention that his stroll would take him out of the safety of the mansion grounds.
“Sodom,” he whispered to the little dragon, “don’t tell Luka okay? It’ll be our little secret.” The creature chirped as Yuki opened the cast iron gates, slipping out unnoticed as he finally breathed a sigh of relief. He would be fine, besides who else would be wandering the streets this late at night? With a gentle hum to himself he took off, heart leading him where it pleased.
⊰ —Ⅲ— ⊱ The night was cold, the streets dark save for the sidewalks that were dimly lit by flickering lamps. The soles of his shoes thudded lightly against the brick path, his hands stuffed into the confines of his pockets, head low and gait hurried.
Despite not carrying a watch with him, Trei was almost sure he was going to be late for work. Having woken up even past the luxury of extra time he had set aside for himself, the silver haired male had practically leaped out of his bed in horror. And now he was going to pay for his tardiness.
To think that his pay was barely enough to scrape him by after paying for the rent for the month. He sighed then, not anticipating the coming weeks that he'd probably have to cut back on food. His stomach growled at the mere thought, the male remembering he had yet to break his fast.
His footsteps hurried as the signboard of the pub came into view, bolstered by the thought that at least he would be warm and hungry instead of miserably cold and starved. But as he neared the establishment, eyes squinted as they focused on a figure standing outside the door, as though pondering over the decision to enter or not.
"Are you looking for something?" Trei spoke up as he neared the person -- a teenage boy, he frowned as he noted the boy's apparent age. "This establishment doesn't allow anyone below eighteen -- you know that, right?"
"What have I told you about being in here!?"
Faryn felt her heart jump into her throat when she heard his voice. She felt like a child, being scolded for being caught taking extra sweets from where they were hidden. Her nerves took over and her eyes darted back and forth across the room. There was no other exit aside from the one that was currently blocked by what she saw as a figure of authority at the moment.
”I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I forgot! I’m sorry!” Faryn cringed as she paced back and forth like an animal, trying to figure out how to get around an obstacle that could be dangerous.
⊰ —Ⅲ— ⊱ Trei grunted, followed by an annoyed click of his tongue as he stared at the other, a hint of guilt flashing through cardinal hues. He had sounded harsher than he had intended, but it was probably too late to take all of that back now.
"Just...get out of there before the manager sees you again," he sighed exasperatedly, stepping aside from the entrance. "You know how he has a temper. What if he catches you back here again? What are you gonna do?"
The sudden embrace from the other made Kent smirk lightly that was a rather nice surprise and simply smirked at the questions. His ‘wife’ should know better then to ask him such questions. It was just teasing him and Trei had to know what was coming with the teasing.. Kent turned lightly and cupped the male, leaning in closer.
He pressed his lips firmly to his ‘wifes’ and kissed him rather passionately, and deeply. His lips teasing and moving along with his own. He tilted his head lightly to the side. His tongue didn’t ask for permission to enter his mouth, it simply slid in and savoured the others warm and wet cavern. He did love how his mouth felt against his own. He ran his tongue over the others and began sucking on it playfully and simply chuckled quietly as he pulled away, to leave a small string of saliva from between the two and smirked lightly glancing to Trei. "I Think It’s delicious" .
⊰ —Ⅲ— ⊱ He was left breathless, chest heaving as he sucked greedily on the oxygen that he was deprived of in the last minute that felt too short for him. Damn the limitations of the human lungs, Trei cursed silently as he let out a low hum, the tip of his nose grazing the other's skin as he pressed soft kisses against his lover's clavicle. "Speak for yourself," he murmured against the skin as he nipped at it lightly with his teeth. "Then again, I'm all yours to devour."
"Alright, just let me know if you need anything. In reality Kent didn’t like helping out in the kitchen, he wasn’t a fan of it, he would prefer people who had a liking to cooking better. That was one way to win them over and he was sure that Trei knew he wasn’t going to really help out with it. He would just say such to sound like a good husband. He watched the other walk off with a smirk, maybe one day he would open up to wearing that apron alone he had tried to get him to wear for sometime, but never succeeded at it. It would be fun.. Taking his wife while he cooked.
⊰ —Ⅲ— ⊱ "And if I said I needed you...now?" The slave whispered breathily as he licked off some sauce that had gotten onto the tip of his index. "...I'm kidding. I'll be done real soon." He dropped the teasing, busying himself around the kitchen.
The meal was simple, ready and prepared soon enough under Trei's precise, well-practiced movements. Setting dinner down on the table, the silver haired male crept up towards his husband from behind -- the word was a little strange on his tongue, but he believed he'd soon get used to it -- and sliding both arms over his shoulders. "I'm ready," he murmured into Kent's ears, his breath ghosting over the shell of his ear. "Are you?"
"Use me as you will."
”I don’t need to use for anything, baka-inu.”
A slow raise of his eyebrows as he looks up from his phone at Trei, “…What kind of help are you talking about?
⊰ —Ⅲ— ⊱ "Whichever you require...?" His brows furrowed as he contemplated the usage of his next words. "I mean...you looked like you were troubled about something so..."
"You're so cute when you're flustered." Trei chuckles softly, never having seen the composed male lose his cool before.
“Shut up..!!”
“I'm not being shy.”
⊰ —Ⅲ— ⊱ A casual shrug of his shoulders. "If you say so." His tone expressed his complete disbelief for the other's vehement denial.
...Kind of.
Gonna try and wake up earlier tomorrow to get stuff done, but for now, good night everyone o/

"Ah.. Well look at you. Going for my weekness. How unfair" Kent allowed a soft chuckle to escape his lips. It was something rare, for someone to have him in such a position, it was usually how he wanted things and the rest would agree, yet Trei had actually gotten him with something.. Something that was rare, yet he was finding himself liking that.He glanced towards the other, before his hand reached behind the males neck, leaning down and pressed his lips onto the nape of his neck. "You’re such a good wife to me" He whispered into the others skin.
⊰ —Ⅲ— ⊱ His chuckle was light as he pulled himself away from the other. "You of all people should know better that nothing is ever fair." A flash of wistfulness glinted in cardinal hues before disappearing once again, replaced by the usual guarded gaze they held. "Now then, this 'good wife' has to get dinner ready now, or we'll never get to the main event." He throws the other a playful wink over his shoulder before leaving for the kitchen.

A soft chuckle seem to escape the blonde haired mans lips listening to him. A small part of his tongue seem to peak out from his lips to taunt the other, before running it over his bottom lip, glancing still to the male and chuckles lightly. “Dinner? Don’t you think we’re passed that?” Kent teased lightly before taking ahold of the others hand, and pulled him to his own, lips pressed upon slender fingertips in the most adoring way possible. “How about we find a nice hotel, and take advantage of their great restaurants,” He suggested and simply chuckled.
⊰ —Ⅲ— ⊱ "Have we?" Trei returned the other's question with another of his own, a single index finger gently pressed against slim lips as a gesture to silence him, shaking his head slowly with an indulgent smile plastered on his face. "Why not this, Kent." He slides closer towards the other, leaning so near that their torsos were almost touching. "I'll cook, and we can play later."
