“Being a bad liar? Well I can definitely add that to my areas of expertise,” She chuckled, fanning herself. Maybe staying inside a house with 3594531 people was a bad idea; maybe sneaking off to her own condo would have been smarter. But the idea of driving all the way there was tiring. “You look so confident that you’re going to win the bet. I hope you’re a quick learner with choreography.”

“You could probably contact Jaejoon to update your official profile.” He smirked, thinking about Yura’s possible match for the Jeju event. If he didn’t appreciate how bad of a liar she was, Jensen would feel bad about encouraging it as a specialty. “I hope that we can both agree to work hard, hoobae.”

Eunji was sitting on the couch in the living room, watching a movie but mostly texting her members on the phone. They were having a huge discussion back and forth about the best kdrama right now, until it all got really quiet. What the fuck? The brunette thought to herself after five minutes passed and she didn’t a reply. The woman sighed and looked at the other person that was sitting on the opposite couch. “You’re looking really quiet over there.”

Because every other room in the house had been crowded or loud, Jensen decided to settle with the living room couch. He’d received an email from his manager that he felt the need to read thoroughly. It contained updates on his possible comeback further into the year, as well as his participation on the show. He looked up slowly from his phone at the voice that called out to him. “Thank you for noticing, Eunji-ah.”

“I don’t think I can take that compliment.” She laughed. “Thanks” If she wasn’t an idol she’d get that on a sticker. “Talking with you is a good distraction though. I’m sorry for distrubing you with, whatever you were doing.”

“I wasn’t doing anything, sadly. I’ve still no clue what to do in this house.” In his own home, Jensen would often take various naps, try out new recipes, and practiced running through various songs of his own. He was getting old, and frankly, bored with himself. “You’ve done me a favor by talking to me, actually.”

Yura offered him a weak smile; she was working on her acting skills before she did a return on the small screen for a drama cameo or what not. “At least you’ll be able to tell if I’m lying or not,” she laughed. “I would offer to teach you the dance right now, but I don’t think this situation is very ideal.”

“That’s an important quality to look for in a woman.” He laughed, but also nodded in agreement with her words. “That, I agree with. My car will be clean for the week while we’re on Jeju, so if you do end up losing, it shouldn’t be too difficult to clean.”

“You’re one of those guys who enjoy running shoes, aren’t you sunbae?” She questioned, holding up a pair of sneakers she wouldn’t be caught dead in out of the practice room. Yura was pretty sure she’s gone through at least four of those shoes in the last two years. “How about these, do you think these look comfortable?” She questioned, holding up a pair of black ballet flats.

Jensen laughed to himself at her noted comment. “You know me quite well, hoobae.” If he wasn’t wearing dress shoes for his stages, Jensen was admittedly wearing various pairs of running shoes. A few were presents from fans, others were pairs he’d used overtime. Looking at the pair of flats she held out for him, he shrugged, nodding his head. “I suppose they do. Try them on, Yura-ya.”

“No… You’re a great… dancer,” Yura wasn’t sure if she ever saw him at the practice room dancing, honestly. Or if any of his songs even had choreography. If she wasn’t mistaken, his last album was a ballad one. “Jaejoon will definitely confess to Jiyul unnie, trust me.” Hell, if he didn’t take the opportunity to confess to the actress she would do it for him.

Though he appreciated her attempt at a compliment, there was no denying that we was not up to standards when it came to dance. “Yura-ya, you’re very sweet, but you’re a horrible liar.” Considering Jiyul was one of the company’s most treasured actors, Jensen could only hope that she’d be able to sound more convincing to Jaejoon if she were to turn him down. “We’ll see.”

“Comfortable footwear,” Yura hummed, a small smile on her lips as she looked at the shoes on display. Comfort and footwear was not common for her when she was promoting, although she did like her sneakers (even if majority of her sneakers were the sneaker wedges). “And what do ou consider comfortable footwear, oppa? Because my coordi unnie considers any heels with a thick platform as comfortable.”

“Well, you see, I’m not too knowledgeable in that field.” Jensen chuckled to himself sheepishly. Seeing as he’d never worn heels himself, he thought it to be wrong to voice his opinion on the matter. While he trusted the coordinators word in regards to style, they weren’t always the best judges of comfort. “Comfort to me is anything that fits well.” Sure, it was a lame answer, but it was the truth.

okie dokes i’m all caught up on replies and should be sleeping

i’ve got my first day of school tomorrow...yay so i won’t be online until way later tomorrow. hopefully, my school will prove me wrong and there will be wifi available so that i can get to replies on mobile. otherwise, hmu on kkt @ taechu if you want to plot with miyeon, jaejoon, jensen, or eun hee. pls feel free to distract me from class

i may possibly be on early in the morning depending on how easily i wake up and how quickly i manage to get ready. though i most likely will not do too well

Yura was confident that Jaejoon would confess to Jiyul and getting Jensen to dance to one of her songs on a variety show was something she wasn’t going to miss out on. “Oh don’t worry! I’ll give you lessons, I’ll even get Hyde to be you backup dancers! To make it more realistic, you know?” She grinned, excited at the idea. “It’s very easy, you’ll learn it in no time!”

He laughed lightheartedly at the offer of Hyde as his background dancers. “If they were to back me up, I’d look like even more of a fool.” Jensen hadn’t trained in dance intensely since his early training days, yet the younger boy group members worked at their moves constantly. He did, however, find it rather amusing how the soon to debut group of boys were already under Yura’s command. “That is only if Jaejoon decides to confess.”

Seeing that he wasn’t sure which store to go into, Yura scanned the stores near them and gently pulled him along with her by his elbow. “Come on sunbae, we can look at shoes and we can get lunch, okay?”

He was certainly glad at the girl’s action of taking the lead in the situation. If not, they would’ve been stuck, only to be bombarded by another crowd. “Alright, hoobae, sounds like a plan. Don’t feel like you need to rush, take your time. And remember, comfortable footwear is more important than fashionable footwear.” Jensen spoke as he followed quickly behind.

“I’m glad to hear it.” Quin couldn’t imagine what the producers were thinking. It would be entirely too easy for someone to get hurt. “Maybe they have their reasons. But I’m not sure what those reasons would be other than wanting a lawsuit to be filed against them.”

“I could only hope that they didn’t want a lawsuit filed against them.” Jensen laughed quietly at the thought. He’d just arrived in the house. Had the producers decided to get themselves in trouble at the given moment...well, that’d be quite unfortunate for him. “Apparently they’ve got some sort of compensation event in store for the house, so that’s something interesting to look forward to.”

“the best way? that sounds masochistic, changmin.” jasmine said to him, moving to sit on the counter across from him. she liked the way her feet dangled off the floor - due to her height she rarely got this affect on most seats. counters were higher usually so it was a nice change. “i don’t doubt that, but its hard for me to notice other things in the dark. i tripped over a chair.” 

“its not real bad is it?” jasmine questioned him, her worry clear in her voice. while most of her did believe that he was being over dramatic - she couldn’t ever properly tell. “damn these big feet of mine.” she said a grin forming on her face as she lifted up one of her legs and pointed at him with her foot.

“Well, you didn’t seem to miss my ankle. Your eyes were good enough to hit it right on target.” His voice was starting to sound extremely whiny now, but it wasn’t anything that she wasn’t used to. “It’s like you’ve got some kind of night vision– like those goggles that the stores sell. There’s no fooling me, Jas.”

He sighed, adjusting the ice around his ankle. “I’m fine, nothing’s broken. I’m not an important idol in the company, I don’t dance around like those other kids. If the company really needed me, I could sing from a chair.” Jensen enjoyed the nearly stress free life of a soloist, though he sometimes felt sad that he hadn’t been able to debut in a group. “I don’t know how you manage to dance so well with such big feet, noona.” He teased, smirking up at her.

“does it really hurt that bad?” jasmine asked with a sigh as she walked over to where the kitchen table sat and picked up a chair with her free hand. she carried it over to where he stood, “sit.” she took another bite of her apple before attempting to find where the ice was kept in the freezer, “why do you think they sent us here during the blackout? isn’t part of the fun seeing as arrive here, i don’t get it.” when she found what she was looking for she realized that she’d need something to put the ice in something so when the cubes melted they wouldn’t cover changmin in water. jasmine closed the freezer and began to rummaged through drawers looking for a plastic baggy or something. it took her a moment, but she found one. she put the ice in it then handed the little bag to the man. 

“uh, one sec.” jasmine began to search once more, taking another moment to find a clean dish cloth. she went back over to changmin, took the bag from him then wrapped the cloth around it before handed it back. jasmine didn’t know if he had actually been hurt, but that hadn’t been her intent. well, full intent. maybe him him a little, but not any real pain. jasmine was forceful and most of the time didn’t realize her full strength (physically and in other ways). changmin was one of her closest (if not best, at least of the male variety) friends - she didn’t ever want to cause him real pain.

“Yes. Your kicks are exceptionally horrid– in the best way possible.” Like a child, he did as he was told. Jasmine had always managed to take care of him. He’d admitted various times on variety that it was one of his favorite characteristics about the female. “Noona, I hardly doubt that you need the lights to be noticed.” He spoke, wincing as he sat. Ever since they’d met, he was never able to forget her. She’d definitely left a lasting impression on him, and he was certain that there was a list of people who agreed.

“Thanks.” He muttered, pressing the bag of ice against his ankle with slight pressure. Sure it’d hurt a little bit, but what could he do about it now? Pray that it’d get better so that it didn’t look like he was overreacting. Especially now that the power was back on and the cameras were watching his every move.

Quin nodded slightly. “I see.” Of course it didn’t really help him, the other male hadn’t really stated a preference. Which meant Quin was going to have to choose. “Did you manage to move in alright without any lights? I didn’t think they’d let new roommates come while the power was out.”

“I managed to find my way around. Luckily, the house is easy to navigate around even when the lights are out.” He chuckled to himself quietly. Jensen definitely agreed with the other’s words. To put new roommates into the house during a blackout was rather absurd. “The producing team never fails to surprise me.”

“that’s besides the point,” jasmine spoke, pausing for a moment then made a face, “oh c’mon i didn’t kick you that hard. so - how long have you been here?” she asked moving away from changmin to the place on the counter where a bowl of various fruit sat. she picked up and apple and examined it before taking a bite from it, “i got here during the black out.”

“You did kick me rather hard.” He whimpered quietly, rubbing his throbbing ankle. “Same.” He answered squinting up at her. “Could you get me some ice or something, please?” How was it possible for her kick to hurt more than a lot of other things he’d experience during his trainee life. That seemed to be what set her apart from others though. She'd easily marked her presence in his life.

Quin nodded slowly. “Just Quin is fine if you prefer it.” He added, generally he preferred not to go by his stage name. It felt strange. Q was an idol, a perfectly manicured barbie doll and Quin was just…Quin. They felt very separate and distinct to him. “Do you go by Jensen or?” It never hurt to check. Some people preferred their stage names over their real ones.

“Quin. Got it.” He nodded, making a mental note for himself. “Changmin or Jensen; whatever suits your fancy.” To be quite honest, he didn’t mind how anyone addressed him. Jensen was like a second identity for himself. Though, being called Changmin reminded him of his past. It also reminded him that he couldn’t run away from his origins. To be addressed at all seem to be enough.
