does anyone else ever dwell on the implications of fraser minten having a painting of his lineys from bantam in his childhood bedroom which just so happens to include connor bedard, and thereâs a toronto maple leaf on top of it, and fraser owns an apartment in toronto which he bought when he was injured late 2024 before he was traded at the trade deadline, and he talks about going back to toronto and visiting and how it reminds him of home (vancouver) and it is important to note this is NOT the lodging from bedmint toronto summer 2023 we still have no idea what that situation was. (but it IS where easton cowan AND ben danford are renting which is funny because theyâre sort of enemies to lovers and won a championship together recently.)
thatâs not the point though, anyway, what iâm trying to get at is that this painting is also on the same wall as his rcm certificates and high school diploma (which is funnily why we know his middle name is pierre) and this does sort of tie to the main point which i want to get to, being the fact that this is fraser's childhood bedroom, meaning that the painting was probably there before he played in the whl, meaning ~15 year old fraser minten either commissioned or was gifted a painting that included himself and connor bedard, and that in it of itself is another can of worms i canât bring myself to begin to dissect in this post because iâm already hitting my limit, email (inbox) me because i canât talk for much longer Help. but yeah anyway i do think about this like at least once every two weeks i guess
The Bedards move in Early July. Will heard about it but he doesn't see them until Church at Sunday. His mom approaches Mrs. Bedard, Grace shakes hands with the daughter, Mads he later learns, and he's about to approach the son but Mack is already there. He walks with his dad to their car.
Later when they're in the abandoned mill, he asks Mack about it.
"Bedsy's an old friend. They're from the town next to our old one, we used to play hockey together."

Mack rolls his eyes, throwing a stone at the foot of an old metal shelf. The sound echoes, the shelf shaking, one stone throw away from falling.

He throws a stone at Mack, starting a stone throwing match that ends with them on the floor, giggling, covered in dust.

So Iâve come to my headspace after having a little chat with my friend @willmackdaddykink about my headcanon hawksmin x bruinsmin. She added some spice by mentioning connie as hawksmin and frase as bruinsmin. I feel like having brain-gasm, in a good respectful kind of way!
Iâm writing this to make it official.
Connor has the best job in the whole world! He goes to work to scroll then goes back home to scroll some more.
He gets paid for scrolling!
Though, after a few days on job, he learned that itâs not just scrolling, but actually finding new trends and remaking it with their players. Which is also cool, because nothing is more hilarious than making grown ass men doing stupid shits for the internet.
He scrolls so much in a day. Sometimes, he finds funny animal videos, tungtungtung sahur brainrot, place to go in Chicagoâsomething like that, but mostly hockey. Mostly. Hockey.
Maybe itâs because he uses âhockeyâ tag a lot, thats why algorithm keeps finding him new unwatched hockey clip/content from other teams.
He usually skip other teamâs video because he finds them really boring and annoying. Like, hawks content is waayyy better. Better than flyers whoâs been milking on Gritty too much, or sharks who cant even edit their gamesâ highlights, or leafs with their full unedited video interviews, split it into 7, dump them on tiktok, then call it a day.
Theyâre all so fucking lame.
Give connor 5 minutes and he can give 30 names of team with worse social media handling than hawks with detailed reason of why are they suck. Only 30, because the best is hawksâobviously, and second best is bruins.
He tried. Scrolling down every bruins content from his fyp, but failed miserably every single time by scrolling it up again and watching it until it repeats again for another 2 or 3 times.
Their edits are sick! How could they get crystal clear game video? What camera did they use? Who made this edits?
Everything is just on point, and neat.
And donât even get him started with their mini interviews. You know, the one where they seated their players in front of a black background and they asked things to them.
Their question is just so thoughtful and very branding for their players. Unlike hawks, who make mini interviews with stupid questions Connor found on reddit and tiktok.
He wonders whoâs the mastermind behind those marvelous contents.
Without other admins knowing, he followed bruins with his second account just so he can put notification on whenever they posted something. Plus he doesnât have to worry to accidentally like their post using blackhawksâ account anymore.
One day, the bruins posted a qna section on their story, âThe boys are heading to the Van, any local food rec?â
Connor got the notification, and never in his live type that fast to send a qna.

Itâs cheesy. But heâs shooting his shot. Besides, itâs his second account, using tungtungapologist as username, and random cat he found on internet for his profile picture.
Anywaysâback to work, scroll some more, list some more, meeting some more, then make content with the players.
Until he got another notification. This time a dm from nhlbruins. He stares for a full minute. There is no way the nhlbruins answer his dm.

He lock his phone real quick, âhave you ask Tonya?â Sorry Tonya, for throwing you under the buss for Connorâs stupid mistake.
However, the other Hawksmin shrug off and ask Tonya instead.
Connor tries to calm himself before opening up his phone again, so he could think of reasonable excuse to give for the bruins. But his phone lit up with another notification read;

Their driveway is lined with perfectly manicured hedges. This is what Mack notices first when they finally make it out of bed. Their driveway. Mack loves that thought as it settles into his chest and the leash for the dogs tightens around his fist.
