all ryan gosling does in his movies is yearn and all i do is think of bedmint ... fraser minten are you ready to be a musician bum who gets in a band and gets famous and rich and have his own club but he loses the first person who ever believed in him in the process and u only see him again years later when he and his partner comes to your club (that u named mint's because he said people would love the name and he drew a simple and kind of bad logo but u used it anyway because its the only thing u have left from him) AND . and youre always gonna love each other because thats just what you guys do

bedmint 27 dresses adjacent au bcs i just finished the movie and i really liked it

consider bedsy who is super friendly and fun so ofc hes groomsman in everyones wedding + minty who is a wedding photographer / writer / who gets paid to cover these weddings

their first convo is probably in an open bar something abt bedsy getting nice photos of himself from weddings that minty covers ("Like, the best photos, dude." "Ah, you should hire me for your wedding then.") and bedsy is making a joke about always being the groomsman never the groom Ha Ha Ha ("I'll probably never get married, but if I did I guess I won't have a hard time finding groomsmen")

Cue minty and his never ending curiosity and his need to figure out why bedsy is this way when he genuinely looks like hes having fun at the weddings hes seen him in and he makes great speeches about love and the sappy bullshit you hear in weddings. Obviously the only solution is to be bedsy’s date in every wedding possible to really understand the guy and bedsy is not gonna say no to a cute guy in glasses asking to be his date ("No Frank, I am not gonna fall in love with the guy, it's just like, I don't know. Like I'm helping a bro.")

Imagine a destination wedding .... rooming together ... agreeing to fake dating just so they dont have to explain the whole thing to people again and again ... the possibilities are endless ...
