I finally opened my little Ko-fi shop 🌟
To celebrate, I made a Sherlock sticker pack:
11 waterproof stickers + 1 holographic sticker, all prepared and cut by hand by me.
If you’d like to support my art or bring a little piece of it home, you can find them here 🫶

Thank you so much for supporting my work and my silly Sherlock fan art 🥹🫶💕🌟
I’ve been drawing Sherlock a lot lately
septembre-songstress creating some of the most sublime Sherlock art this side of the moon!
you probably don't know this but you can just go to your local animal shelter and ask to pet all the kitties and puppies and they'll let you in and put you in a big room with a bunch of kitty cats and let you play with them. it's fucking amazing
I normally go to the local trans meetup but this also works!!!!

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
Guy who has a non-research degree in a field that never studies human subjects: Here are my opinions on what needs to be done for me to respect this field I've decided to become a denier of.
[Extreme breach of scientific ethics]
[Violent abuse of power]
[Method that actually doesn't obtain any information]
[Controlled double-blind studies of phenomena where that is literally impossible]
[Seeking empirical proof that a word has the meaning that it's defined as]
[Study that would have a dropoff rate of 100%]
Additionally, how do we know that [best currently available theory] is true, and not [dominant theory from 100 years ago that repeatedly failed in the face of evidence]? I have found some minor methodological flaws in [studies that were not designed to prove the best available theory, but rather examine edge cases within that theory], so we should really consider [nonsense with no evidence backing it whatsoever].

Old predatory ads: you’ve won a million dollars by existing, click now!!!!
Current predatory ads: hourly remote work now, $18 dollars, poor ass!!!!
that comment about how you should not borrow grief from the future has saved me multiple times from spiraling into an inescapable state of anxiety. like every time i find myself thinking about how something in the future could go wrong i remember that comment and i think to myself: well i never know, it might get better. it might not even happen the way i think it will and if it does happen and it is sad and bad ill be sad about it then, when it happens. and it’s somehow soo freeing

im so calm and normal but also if im misunderstood by people in a way i cannot control i will tear apart the fibers of the universe
Sherlock’s like a kid who tries to explain to his father why he gets home late.
Their barbaric government operated reeducation camps versus our enlightened private institutions for troubled teens
I still can't believe that there's an entire industry that just tortures teenagers at remote locations in the woods and it's all cool because Parents' Rights.
For those who don't know: There are companies in the US that do legal kidnapping in the middle of the night, taking teenagers to camps that try to abuse them in an effort to transform them into whatever it is their parents are paying for (often an attempt to make the child cishet or more submissive).
Some of these camps basically drop people in the middle of the wilderness, and there have even been reports of deaths in them.
The first of these camps that I heard about, Tranquility Bay, shut down over a decade ago but many more still exist and are so unregulated that we don't even know how many people are being forced into them.
It is not an exaggeration to say that a lot of parents think of their children as property they own and want total control over, down to their very thoughts. They feel entitled to this level of control and call it their "parental rights".
