"In the latest newsletter, the RC CEO mentioned he hopes that in 5 years or so, some RC stories might get picked up for movies or TV series. This totally gave me a throwback to the 'Romance Club Polls' era (miss you guys if any mods are still around!). Back then, someone proposed this idea, but most of the fandom was against it. The main issue? The interactive element. If RC goes mainstream with a movie, they’ll have to pick one 'canon' LI, and everyone else’s routes will be dust. Either that, or they’ll pull an 'RC Books' move where the other LIs are just sidelined or hooked up with random NPCs.
