He shrugged. “I thought I’d give it a try.” Rabastan shook his head. A coward? Maybe. A self-serving idiot? Sometimes. A bad person? Rabastan was not really one who could talk about someone being bad or good. Most people would think that he was bad, if they really got to know him. “I don’t know him that well,” he replied. “My dad knew him, barely,” he replied. “I can’t really pass judgement.” Rabastan took a swig of his drink. “I’ve just been trying to find some people here so I’m not drinking by my fuckin’ self all the time.”
"Well, sorry, but I'm not too much of a drinker myself." On occasion, he'd have a few drinks and maybe one or two if he really felt like it, but he really hated the idea of getting drunk. There was no reason for him to personally do so and who knew what he would do when under the influence. He already had done stupid things while completely sober. "Though if you catch me on a good day, I'd probably agree and drink a few." Maybe today was that day, after all, he'd been going through some crap he'd hoped never happen again.
