Since Rocky wasn't a scientist, him and Grace wouldn't have worked together. Grace would go off with the eridian scientists to learn from them and work with them.

Ilyukhina would've gone with Rocky instead, learning about xenonite.

Yao would've gone with the pilots to learn about their ship.

Would the rest of the eridians been on board for giving them the rest of the astrophage fuel? Would they have been so attached to these humans that they would've built the biodome? Or would they be okay letting them die in space?
