something SO self indulgent solely for the fact that James Ortiz is eligible for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his performance in PHM. Practical effects in movies are so so important to me, and I was SHOCKED to find out Rocky was a puppet and not completely CGI. Idk it just makes me so excited and happy when movies utilize puppetry and prosthetics and real, intricate sets and wire work and take the time to let artists create things by hand because that heart really comes across in the film. I really hope he gets it because that would be absolutely insane.

Ok so like on my main I talked about it a tad bit more but I’m working on a Eridian puppet of my baby Emery (ref sheet in progress) but that’s currently on hold cause I’m in Tennessee with my family :D anywho just wanted to say thanks to @sleepingreader for giving my hyper fixated phm pilled brain the idea to make a little guy.
