I've been an employee of Metz Culinary for almost a year now & I feel I've learned enough to perform an evaluation of the team that feeds the students at Albion College. For instance, problematic employees like Annette & Brandie constantly wear whatever they want to work, so in response Metz took all of our weekend attire away because of those two rule breakers. Why? Because these rule breakers are friends with the supervisor. They're allowed to steal food and whatever else they want.

When I started the supervisor was going to make me a name tag but Annette told her I wouldn't be there long enough, so I assume you have to work there a year to get a name tag, yet other newbies are given name tags.

Here's a good one. I'm 61 years old but can't take a lunch break unless David feels that I need one. Yet the front office says I need to punch out for a lunch. One says one thing, one does another. I was told that since my name isn't Karen or Mattie, I can't take a lunch. Yet when Sierra is supervisor, she gives me a lunch.

Whenever some safety issue is brought up, they say, "We're not bon appetit anymore. We're Metz." We live on the edge!
