not a confession, genuine ask: does it get hard, reading a bunch of negative confessions all the time? do ou ever get ones that are TOO negative for you to post?
most of the things i get and delete are
1. personal vents (why are you venting to an scp blog...)
2. death threats to authors
3. nsfw asks that are just too detailed
i havent gotten anything THAT negative yet but there are a lot of negative opinions on scp in general. also it doesnt get hard, i like reading about other people's opinions but it does sting a little when i actually like the scp they're talking about.

"The TV Tropes page for the SCP Foundation is capital-G Garbage. And on a website that is bad BY DEFAULT, do you know how bad it ast to be to be noticably godawful?"

"I’m sorry but if you headcanon Scp 049 as the “Soft Boi birb doc mom friend that has a emotional meltdown every time they can’t cure someone” or something along those lines. Then you’re just plain unoriginal"

"I really want to jumpstart my writing career on the wiki but I feel so intimidated by the greenlighting process that idk what to really do. Should I go headfirst with one of my bigger ideas or should I start out a smaller but still pretty cool idea? And another confession I saw said something about the greenlighting process so I feel more intimidated. .w."

"Gonna quickly say I love and appreciate people who do SCP readings with good production quality. Like The Exploring Series that just gives it to you straight or add some character like Volgun. My dyslexia gets in the way of me reading articles so it helps a ton <3"

"Said this before, and I'll say it again: I don't understand how someone gets attached to the doctors *that* much. Especially Kondraki, whose entire thing is... having trained illusionary butterflies."

"I have such wildly different headcanons for several scps that they can’t be considered canon anymore. This extends to creating a backstory and ability set for one of the things that haunts 087-B, to the point it’s no longer even technically a part of the staircase."

"I really want them to translate other language branch's original content to SCP-EN as well. A while ago someone I knew who spoke French introduced me to Dr. Johannes and I haven't been the same since. My love my life my paranoid little archivist"

"I think that objectively a lot of bigname authors are kind of bad and the only reason they achieved their notoriety is because of their ability to put themselves in the spotlight deliberately, earlier on in the formation of SCP. I just don't get how people think a long, ableist and convoluted family tree where you have to keep telling people in metatext about how certain characters act is good, or how giant extended universe SCPs ultimately surrounding milquetoast liberal political jokes are good."
