“I miss the days where SCPs were stand-alone or part of a small series and you didn't have to do homework to understand them. Now everything has Lore. It's part of a Canon. You gotta read ten SCPs, eight tales, a hub, and Ion knows what else to understand one article. And all of the tales are so abstract and confusing. I'm too lazy and stupid for that.”

“I recently got into the SCP fandom, and tbh I don't like the wiki very much. It seems really strict and kinda scary. There's so many rules, and people are so judgmental about works. I enjoy reading files & logs but I never got an official account because I'm nervous and don't feel it's worth it. In my opinion the best thing about fandoms is the ability to take an idea and expand on it in your own creative, unique way, and I feel the Wiki oppresses that in favor of work being "right".”
