this is an attempt to reestablish a post-1027 presence independent of kimwmaois influence. as usual, Translationist missionary activity will be conducted from here, in addition to the normal functions of an embassy.

interest is in person'ifs, not people or individual SCP objects if they are not semidividuals. clef, shaw, meri, 049, 053, and the others are disregarded except as they are relevant to their nesses.

great regard for the host fandom is given as they have contributed significantly to the form and character of Translationist doctrine. essophysics, especially.

person'ifs, including their avatars, are not considered anomalous. this is nonnegotiable.

najremait stances are as follows:

the foundation is fundamentally wrong, following site-17 deepwell and no return. there is no reason they over anyone else should determine who is and isn't normal. the world will function fine unveiled as it had for millennia before.

the coalition is the same.

everything in no return's vanguard timeline, from 120's archives, and the less esoteric parts of site-17 deepwell (the esoteric is wonderful but incompatible) EXCEPT ralliston's 001 is minded; if there are contradictions, no return takes precedent.

the ethics committee is as in 3985 and tanhony's 001, but has a slow temper and is usually more like the ICRC in personality.

raisa is as in the site-7 dossier.

departments and sites are as in their orientations and dossiers, except where they contradict.

the seventh occult war and the köln agreement are minded. thaumaturgy is generally as it is in third law.

all personifcore articles which don't contradict are minded.

aaron siegel does not exist. if he's in an article vital to the canon he will be analyzed as someone else and not mentioned, per najremait avoidance custom.

Site-01 (overwatch hq) would never joke Abt killing itself. It's simply too important to the foundation, and knows it

Site-43 knows that much of the foundation would be kind of glad if it blew up and took its rebel streak out of play. It likes to make edgy, irreverent jokes about the subject within its own domain, but it wouldn't do the same outside it

Site-666 is an irreverent ahole which sees nothing as sacred and likes to make this joke to get under people's skin. It likes alleging that it actually does contain a nuke, and proposing taking the hotel and much of Vegas with it

Site-333 would only say something like this if it was considering it. But it's more likely to joke about being decommissioned (jokes that come from a place too close to home)

Lunar Area-32 makes this joke so straight faced and matterafactly that it's almost not clear as a joke. It doesn't care about that much anymore. If death shocked it, it couldn't handle being on the moon

basically i think the foundation is assimilationist. █'ll let you in and █ will let you in sooner than almost anyone else will but you can't act like you're part of a minority and any accomodations that must be made are made privately and it's weird to talk about having them. █ is too smart to let bigotry narrow █'s pool of candidates, and hiring marginalized people is actually advantageous for █ because they have fewer opportunities to escape to if they realize what kind of person'if they've gotten themselves entangled with, but █'s mandate is to maintain the illusion of normalcy and this applies to █'s own nesses too.

because obviously the foundation and coalition are hiding the closeness of their relationship from everyone else but when they're alone they're also hiding their dislike of the other. they're in a loveless marriage and staying for the kids (the veil, the concept of normalcy generally, and their joint task forces). they're pretending they're not married in front of others and pretending they wouldn't kill the other if it wouldn't end them too when nobody's watching. they're never not acting. they'd still go genuinely apeshit if they discovered the other was having sex with somepolity else

site-17 is like that for a bunch of reasons.

the first and most obvious is that it's just easy to be abusive when your job allows you full control of people who can't fight back. the second is that she's horribly overqualified; all records of humanoid abuse are restricted to level 3+ clearance and even with APAS it's hard for her to compartmentalize hard enough her lower-level staff won't know and she won't be weakened by their defection or start doubting herself, so she just has way more senior researchers and way fewer juniors than a normal site. but the jobs usually allotted to juniors still need to get done, and if there are no juniors the seniors will just have to debase themselves, and she resents this and she resents herself because she knows she's too good for this work and if she were anyone else she'd be more fulfilled. luckily there are people right nearby that she can take her anger out on and their person'if ness she has orders to strangle anyway. the third reason is that the lower-level staff she does have are selected for their unconditional love of the foundation so they'll dismiss the abuse rumors and pull extra weight considering their paucity of numbers, so she has a genuine deep adoration for her upper and wants to make them proud. the fourth reason is that the people who choose her (most are assigned unwillingly) come either because they genuinely care for the containees or because they want to hold power over somebody, so when she does like her job it's the control she relishes and she oscillates between disregard and suffocating paternalism for her victims. on a good day she thinks she loves them.

main whumpee is a captive, on constant watch, gets all of whumper's attention. they're a whumpee 24/7. a long-term whumpee. whumper's favorite.

but whumper has other whumpees, too. ones that are under whumper's control but have more freedom. blackmailed whumpees. short term whumpees. or maybe a villain whumper whos other whumpees are their underlings, who are even whumperees, forced to watch as whumper hurts main whumpee, or even forced to participate. whumper has a line they won't cross with main whumpee. they don't want to break their favorite toy, after all. they're irreplaceable.

but those lines don't exist with the other whumpees.

the other whumpees should be grateful they're not main whumpee, right? they have some freedom, they can try to pretend like that part of their life doesn't exist most of the time. does the existence of other whumpees make main whumpee feel like their trauma isn't as valid, since they're not getting it as 'badly' as the others?
