this is Sunny, a show business singer/actor.

They're married to my other Eridian, Dr. Smiley <3

The two had a rom com meet cute when Smiley was researching the impact of ethnic background/linguistic differences on regional modern music:

Sunny heard them asking directions to an artist meet and greet (that Sunny was a part of) and offered to walk them there because they wanted to hear more about Smiley's project. It was revealed who Sunny was when they arrived and a security guard walked up, and Sunny then offered to talk more in depth with a shocked Smiley after the event (their first date was a historical tour around Sunny's hometown where the m&g was held. Nerds).

Look at them, head of their field, in charge of... fixing cultural miscommunication caused by Rocky being Rocky, mostly.

Jests aside, Smiley's job is to facilitate the meetings between Grace and the various leaders of Eridian states, as well as manage the team working on the eventual official contact with Earth. They're very proud to have been titled with the human expression used to put others at ease. Dr. Smiley!

I'd like to think they became friends with Grace after weeks of meeting up and discussing interplanetary cultural differences.
