PSA: DEC 17th SITE WIDE TUMBLR LOG OFF

After much thought and seeing the hell this system is wreaking, considering their own post about NSFW content was flagged… on DEC 17 I WILL be participating in the site wide Tumblr LOG OFF. Mostly because I am sick to fucking death of Tumblr NOT LISTENING to it’s userbase.

We wanted the PORNBOTS gone, we wanted the pedos and neonazis gone, and over all the scambots. But it seems this new system isn’t gonna do shit to them.

Instead it’s going to hurt the very userbase they think they are protecting, but in fact the site has been so broken since David Karp left that they don’t fucking know what the fucking hell they are doing.

They say they protect a free and open internet with net neutrality and yet here they are trying to censor their userbase. HYPOCRITES! You can’t have it both ways!

WE ARE HERE TO ESCAPE REALITY AND MAKE FRIENDS!

WE ARE HERE TO CREATE WHAT WE WANT!

I’ve always said “It’s your blog post what you want!” Because that’s how it’s always been. Because we have safe mode, tag filtering, buttons to indicate NSFW blogs and the block feature! IS THAT NOT ENOUGH?

According to @staff, apparently not.

They have to go to the extreme of deleting their userbase.

I WILL NOT STAND FOR IT! I could lose so many cool friends because Tumblr Staff are being dumb boneheads and can’t see what the real problem is.

DECEMBER 16th LOG OFF that night and don’t log back in until DECEMBER 18th

Because that is what I’ll be doing, because I intend to hit them where it hurts most. Then MAYBE they will realize how stupid this idea is.

And if on the 18th I cannot log in… they will be getting one HELL of an e-mail from me… because hoooooo boy.

I wish to alert all of you to a nasty little viper who has attempted to breach our rp domain. Moonx641 has made quite the name for himself, mostly as an irritant and creeper. He is known for trying to force ships on people. On two separate occasions he tried to force a ship on my Nisha muse. He’s also known for pedophilic behavior, including one instance where he straight up told a minor he’d jerked off to her cosplay photos, and actually propositioned my fellow rper @arianatheangelworld about shipping with her verse as a *five year old.* If denied the right to ship, or questioned about his ideas, he has and will engage in attempts at guilt tripping and emotional manipulation to get his way. There is a long list of people he has tried this with – entering his username into the search function will turn up a number of call-out posts.

Attached here is the record of our second conversation (I no longer have the first one). He comes off as apologetic at first, but the mask rapidly slips off as his true manipulative nature emerges, and he attempts to dictate my reactions to things, complains about my rules, and repeatedly attempts to guilt trip me. He blocked me after I chewed him out.

Other apparent blogs of his include “theherooftime67″, “midnightnoon99″ and possibly “moonx777.” Should he attempt to interact with you, under any of these blogs, my advice is that you ignore him completely. It is not worth the aggravation.
