Went to a Jeep meet up at a local waterpark Sunday. When it came time to leave, I found a small flock perched on my hood.

Checker Marathon, 1960-1982. Though it was available as passenger car the Checker Motors Corporation of Kalamazoo, Michigan was primarily concerned with the production of cars intended for use as Taxis. Apart from modifications to remain compliant with legislation the Marathon remained unchanged for its 22 year production run. It featured a foldable centre 3rd row bench seat that could be used to extend the car's capacity to 8 passengers. When Marathon production ended Checker exited the automobile manufacturing business.
