I think there's a flaw in my code

levi nodded his head and leaned into her touch, “really. i really love you.” he confirmed and tucked some of her wet hair behind her ear. he didn’t know why she seemed so surprised but maybe it was because he hadn’t always openly came out with his feelings.

Carter leaned into Levi, pressing her forehead against Levi’s. A soft smile, still dancing on her lips as she ran her eyes across her boyfriend. “I love you as well.” Carter said softly, as she leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to Levi’s lips. “I have been in love with you, for awhile now.”

levi smiled at her response to his arms around her but he wasn’t all that surprised. she liked being around him just as much as he liked being around her. “hi baby.” he breathed out and ran his hands over her side gently. “you never have to thank me for spending time with you. i want to spend time with you. i,” he paused for a moment, a little nervous, “i love you carter.”

Carter leaned into Levi and sighed softly when she felt Levi’s hands run over her side. She smiled as she listened to Levi talk, before she raised an eyebrow turning to face her boyfriend. “What?” Carter asked as she ran her hand over Levi’s cheek. “Really?”

He had pretty much fallen asleep when he heard the girl, his brain was still trying to process what was going on, when Carter made her way into the living room. “Well, that’s what I call a wake up call!” he giggled a little, stitting back up, “Sorry I think I dozed off a little, Carter, honey!” the warlock grined, “It’s lovely to see you sweetheart! now, I heard something about brownie?” he joked, getting up to meet her, “How did you guess this was just what I needed?”

Carter let out a small noise when Zeke spoke up. “Jeepers, Zeke.” Carter said as she looked over at her friend before she moved over to the couch and sat down, handing Zeke the container of brownies. “Yes, home made brownies.” Carter smiled as she adjusted on the couch, tucking her legs under herself. Carter shrugged a little as she looked down at her hands. “I don’t know, I just had this feeling.”

Carter knocked on the door loudly before she pushed it open. “Zeke? You home?” Carter called out, closing the door behind her before she made her way into the house more. “I brought brownies.” Carter said as she stopped to see if she could hear her friend. She frowned a little as she entered the living room. “If you don’t make a noise, I’m going to eat these brownies myself.”

“people love to talk or you love to talk?” the darker haired woman teased, a small smile playing on her lips. jessica liked messing with the younger girl and even more than that, she liked having her around since she was the only other of her find that she knew. “i don’t know. tacos kind sound good. what do you think?” she asked.

“A bit of both, if I am being honest.” Carter said as she lopped her arm around Jessica’s arm, smiling up at the older women. Carter nodded her head in agreement. “Tacos sound really good.” Carter wasn’t sure what it was that drew her to Jessica. But there was something that felt almost familiar, she just couldn’t put her finger on what it was.

levi couldn’t help but smile at her words, “good.” he really did feel the same. he only had eyes for her too and there was no one else that he wanted. he held back a small sigh as she kissed his collarbone and then let her go so that she could dive into the water. he dove in after her, his arms coming around her once the resurfaced and pulled her against his chest.

Carter let out a small sigh, when she felt Levi’s arm around her body, pulling her against his chest. Carter leaned her head back and kissed Levi’s neck softly. “Hi.” Carter said softly as she moved her arm, behind Levi’s head and ran her fingers through Levi’s hair slowly. “Thank you, for coming with me today.”

“you don’t think so?” the man asked, a smile playing on his lips. “you’re probably right.” levi added. this girl had him completely wrapped around her finger and he was sure that she didn’t even know. he raised an eyebrow, “better than your boyfriend? i’m offended. who am i competing with for your attention?” he asked, his arms snaking around her. 

Carter grinned as he moved her hand, and ran her fingers through Levi’s gently. She leaned down and kissed his neck softly. Carter didn’t think she could fall this fast for a man, but Levi had her week at the knees every time she saw him. “You have nothing to worry about, love. I only have eyes for you.” Carter smiled as she kissed Levi’s collarbone, before she pulled away from Levi and dove under the water, before she started to swim.

“oh, is that what it is?” levi asked, letting out a laugh and shaking his head. if there was one person on this island that could make him happy, it was her. he was falling for her and there was no denying that. he pulled back from her slowly, “alright then. i’ll try to be good.” but with her, there was no telling what they’d get into. she always got him into something. he watched as she went toward the water and he grinned, “enjoying the view.” he teased before he moved around her and jumped into the water.

Carter looked over at Levi and laugh softly. “You wouldn’t know how to be good.” Carter called out with a grin as she moved further into the water before she turned and watched Levi. Levi made her happy, happier than she has even been in the past two years and she was great for him. She ran her eyes over Levi for a moment, before she rolled her eyes. “I’ve seen better.” Carter teased as Levi jumped in the water. Carter moved over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Thanks for coming with me.”

levi stopped in front of the water, his arms around her as he chuckled. “don’t tell me you’re backing out now. you’re the one that wanted to do this.” he pointed out and leaned in, kissing her. “if it helps, i can kiss some of those nerves away.” he suggested teasingly and tugged her closer to him, his hand on the small of her back. carter had easily become the most important person in his life and while he had been here to bring laney home originally, he now realized how ridiculous that was because he, himself, wasn’t going anywhere now. “or do you want me to go first?”

Carter looked up at Levi and smiled softly. “I’m not backing out, I’m just enjoying the veiw.” Carter said as he leaned up and kissed Levi back softly. Carter smirked as she rolled her eyes. “I think if you keep giving me those kisses, we make it into the water.” Carter leaned into Levi for a moment, feeling the hand on her back. Carter didn’t want to admit it, but she was falling for Levi. The man was super sweet, and understanding with her. Carter pulled away from Levi, and walked into the water. She shivered a little as the cold water touched her skin before she looked over at Levi. “What are you waiting for?”

levi nodded his head, his hand squeezing herself as if to silently tell her that he was there for her. he didn’t like hearing that was something she had to go through, “i’m sorry.” he breathed out and leaned down to kiss her temple. a smile smile appeared on his face, “let’s see how the rest of the night goes.”

Carter smiled when Levi kissed her temple, leaning him to slightly. “Thanks.” Carter said softly as she looked up at Levi. “I’m sure the rest of the night is going to be pretty good.” Carter said as she pulled away from Levi a little. “Especially if you win me some stuffed animals.”

“oh yeah? why is that? you were just working or what?” levi asked. he was glad that they were able to come together. ever since the thing was announced that it was coming into town, he was planning on coming with his girlfriend. “it could still be magical. you know, with me.” he told her, smiling a little.

“My mom got sick around that time.” Carter said softly.  Once Carter’s mom got sick, her and her dad spent time caring for her, there wasn’t much time for anything and as much as he mother wanted Carter to attend the carnival. Carter couldn’t bring herself to do it.  Carter smiled as she looked over at Levi. “You are already making it magical.”

a small sigh left his lips once the girl pulled away from him and his fingers intertwined with hers as he walked behind her for a few beats. “this is my first year here but i’ve always loved carnivals. you can’t really have a bad time. it’s impossible with all this energy around.”

Carter smiled softly as she walked with Levi. “I missed the carnival last year, and year before.” Carter looked over at Levi, before she looked around the grounds, watching the children run away, yelling, eating. Just having an over all good time. “I use always come with my parents, it was just.” Carter shrugged a little, as she thought the years she came. “Magical.”

levi chuckled softly and looked down at her, his arm coming around her waist as he kissed her back. carter was the only thing keeping him here and he was so thankful she was here. he wasn’t sure what he’d do without her. “maybe we should save the ferris wheel for the end of the night when we need to rest our feet and everything. let’s go get on the bumper cars or something.” he suggested, his hand rubbing against her back.

Carter nodded, smiling when she Levi’s hand on her back. Carter was thankful for Levi, she hasn’t been this happy in a long time. “Ooh bumper cars sound found.” Carter said as she pulled away from Levi, but grabbed his hand pulling him with her. “The carnival is always so fun, it’s I always look forward too every year.”

“So are we going to ride the ferris wheel and be that couple that has to kiss at the top.” Carter asked with a smile as she looked up at Levi, before she leaned up and kissed him gently, before she leaned into his side as she wrapped her arm around his waist. Carter loved when the carnival came to the island, it was also so much and so magical. “Or should we get some food, and play a few games first?”
