i will ALWAYS be so mad over cut scenes from scream. i watched this behind the scenes video and they said that in order to get scream approved they went to the MPAA 8 GODDAMN TIMES . and also just scenes in the original script and i know some of them are filmed (example: longer scene with tatum and sidney at the store because there is some more behind the scenes that kind of implies that scene was longer but cut for some reason) AND I JUST ABAHAHWHQHSJSJWHDHXEJE IT BOTHERS ME SO MUCH

i mean some of the cut scenes (like 20 seconds off footage) that would’ve earned scream a nc-17 are posted on youtube, i’m just saying there for sure is more than that

guys guys guys. i have a theory that the scene in stus attic where it shows all those hanging dolls is inspired by Deep Red (1975) 🤭

i showed this to my friend when we watched deep red and they thought it was far fetched and yeah it most likely is but … i could also argue the scene where casey is hanging is a reference to Suspiria (1977) which is also directed by Dario Argento but then i’d be called crazy so,,,

like yeah this scene in scream is pretty much foreshadowing that stu is one of the killers cause these dolls represent casey, and there was another doll tied to a chair that represents steve, and then maybe the other one was himbry? i don’t know but i’m just calling it like i see it and what i see is a reference to deep red so 🤷‍♀️
