oh my god so awhile i talked about a dsmp fanart i have been looking for since 2021 and i literally. found a bit of it randomly on twitter
idk if anyone remembers but this is it. this was the dsmp newspaper article i was talking about forever ago. there was originally text attached to it describing recent events in the lore and i still donât know the artist so im gonna need someone to TELL ME!

Several years ago, I realized the obvious: that Seapeekay was a username created by spelling out the initials CPK, which must naturally come from the initials of this man, Callum Knight.
So this means that his full name is presumably Callum P. Knight, correct?

Callum Paul Knight? Callum Peter Knight? Phillip? Percy? Patrick?
This has filled me with some sort of horrible curiosity. I need to know. I would pay him to tell me legitimately I would.

like the betrayalâs always going to be worse if they cared about you and it didnât matter. someone discards you because they didnât give a shit, then you can be angry about that, you can feel vindicated in that, you can get over it. but if they can look you in the eyes and say âI love you. All twelve rulers of the Empires SMP! One 2-hr painting a day for twelve consecutive daysâthis was a really fantastic exercise and it was a nice way to relax and take my mind off things while Iâm sick with Covid. Thank you to everyone who followed along as I progressed! Itâs unfortunate that being sick prevented me from being able to take commissions this winter but Iâm glad I was able to do these, if I go too long without painting I get all itchy inside đ
Some take-aways from doing this series:
- I love painting faces! I feel like this is apparent, but worth mentioning.
- Iâm very bi. I feel like this is also apparent, but also worth mentioning ;)
- Speaking of, Empires has a really fantastic gender balance!! This makes me very happy.
- The number of highlights that are visible in the eyes really affects how you interpret the charactersâ personalities. I plan to speak more on this later :3
- There are only so many different angles of 3/4 view faces and I think I might have found them all
- While getting Covid is really awful on my body, it turns out to be amazing for my tumblr activity statistics. Silver linings!

okay so the problem with nonfags' analysis of homoeroticism in art is that most of you are very very bad at recognizing actual homoeroticism. I say this as a gay man.
like most of what you guys think is homoeroticism is actually just "gay bravado", which is a process where straight men ritually reinforce their own heterosexuality by joking about gay sex with each other. It's a form of homophobia. The joke is that gay sex is repulsive, bizarre, and inconceivable for them to actually engage in. it's incredibly common and I can't believe we're still having this discussion honestly
