Alright, linguistic question for my natively English-speaking followers:

At what point does a span of time qualify to be called an “eon”?

1000 years? 10,000 years? 1,000,000 years?

I am genuinely curious, because I know it’s supposed to be a hyperbolic way to describe an immeasurable amount of time, but I’m curious just what you guys would think if an immortal creature told you they hadn’t spoken to someone in eons. How much time would you think must have passed at least?
