March bit his lip as he watched Hatter look over the things that he set on the table. He was nervous as hell, he didn’t want Hatter to get angry for trying to do thing, trying to make this place home when he clearly wasn’t. “Yeah…” His voice is quiet at first, before he clears his throat, wringing his hands together. “I figured since it’s snowing, and it’s not like we can exactly get home right now…I…I wanted to make it like home for you. So you’d be happy.”
"I don't like the snow." He pouted, but he leaned up and pressed a kiss to the boy's cheek. "Thank you. For making this as much home as possible. Until we can get back home ourselves. I love you." Swallowing thickly, he leaned down and smelled the flowers. The sight of the tea set and the flowers and everything just made him relax. They did try to make the apartment as...Wonderland as possible. And it kind of worked until Hatter got into one of his moods. "I think it'll definitely help."

March had left early that day to run a few errands and pick up a few things for Hatter. Ever since a few weeks ago Hatter really hadn’t been the same, and it was worrying him. So he went on a look out for flowers. He bough as many as he could along with new tea sets and a new table cloth. He was hoping to get back before Hatter was awake, but as he walked through the door he saw him sitting down near the window. “Afternoon, bug!”
Hatter looked up from the window and his gaze trailed over everything that March had set down and his brow furrowed for a moment. "What's all of this?" He asked softly as he climbed off of the windowsill. He stumbled over, fixing the beanie on his head. "Marchy..." He whispered as his fingertips dusted over the petals of the flowers and he looked up at him with tears in his eyes. "Are you trying to make this home?" He asked, but smiled nonetheless.

Today was quiet for the Wonderlander and he just sat on the windowpane, watching the snowflakes fall with a cup of tea set beside him. His mind was full of static, but he liked it better than feeling nothing at all. Marchy wasn't there and neither was Cheshire. Absolem had gone out, so he was left to his own devices for now.
