Yoshi has been such a massive comfort character for me over the years, to the point where when I was just starting out with art there was a several month long period where I would only draw him. Ran out of green while making this piece, but I'd say it was worth it.

"How do I begin when the roof is ever changing?"

Recently got very attached to a design that was supposed to just be for a silly little OC-Tober prompt, so I decided to flesh it out a bit more. Here's Ovidyan, the druid bugbear child who was literally raised by a bear (who technically is / was blessed by a nature spirit but that's besides the point). His view on nature and the environment is very layered, complex, and fascinating; I've found myself thinking so fucking hard about his philosophies in life and how they have been shaped by the fact that he grew up no different to the wild animals who shared his little neck of the woods. Though, those ramblings are probably for another time.

Title is a lyric from "Neath the Grove is a Heart" from Yaelokre.

Finally finished a portrait of my beloved husband that I'm actually proud of lol. Included a bit of headcanony material such as him having so much goddamn freckles. Not even a simple little spattering on the nose; that shit is EVERYWHERE. Also he has his gay little earring from the beta art. To me he also is a bit nearsighted from reading in the dark too much as a kid, but he only wears glasses at home because he keeps fucking losing them. 25% of the broken glasses you fish up are his.
