I’m honestly so sick to my stomach. Every day I hear more and more about the atrocities happening in Palestine and I get sicker and sicker. A mob of hateful racists (allegedly “far-right” despite their actions seeming to be average on the Israeli spectrum) raided Masjid Al Aqsa (a protected Palestinian mosque that Palestinians themselves have been increasingly denied from praying in, even during Muslim holidays). Allegedly to celebrate a Jewish holiday. What kind of fuck shit is this? It’s not enough for Israel to bomb, displace, rape, starve, torture, and slaughter Palestinian men, women, and children by the millions, it’s also not enough to steal their land, history, culture, and resources. No, Israel (let’s be honest, this raid was government sanctioned) wants to so thoroughly destroy the Palestinian national and ethnic identity that they would use one of the country’s most significant historical sites as the venue to express their own racist ideology. Their message is very clear; the Israeli national ‘identity’ is superior to all else.

Besides feeling terribly fucking depressed and angry, I am also hopeless.
