The trailer released for the Dear Evan Hansen movie less than four hours ago and I am already seeing terrible comments about Evan/Ben Platt's hair, so here are a few reminders. Ben Platt is a Jewish man, and Evan is Jewish. That is Ben Platt's natural hair. There is nothing inherently funny or memeable about Jewish hair. It is not funny and is in fact antisemitic to make "memes" or "jokes" comparing his appearance to famous Jewish people like Jonah Hill, Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Zuckerberg, and Josh Gad just because they have curly hair. You're not funny.

So I just finished season 2 of The Politican and I cannot forgive Ryan Murphy for what he diminished Payton and River’s relationship to. You cannot convince me that those boys are straight and just wanted to be close or whatever bullshit excuse it was. Season 2 took all lgbt+ representation and chucked it out the window. If he doesn’t fix this mess in season 3 I’m going to riot.
