One day you will find a boy, and he will say he likes you, and you will be so shocked someone could ever like you, he’ll say you look like a beautiful rose, and because of this you will see the world as a garden that has never been more beautiful, so beware, because when he starts screaming, and says you look like a wilted disgusting rose, the world will no longer be a garden, until you let it grow again, more beautiful than ever , from all of the pain he caused. imagine. every cut, every tear, every aching heart beat, turns into the most beautiful flower, you now live in an enchanted garden. because you took all of this pain, and made something beautiful out of it, because the most beautiful things come from the darkest of moments

i remember loving him, i remember wanting to know every little thing i could about him, i remember learning who he was, and how he wasn’t the boy i thought i fell in love with, he was a monster, i fell in love with kind eyes and a bright smile, and i fell out of love when i realized the boy i loved was gone, all he gave me lonely nights and broken hopes, when i thought he had given me the world, i fell because i was naive, i thought fairy tales were real, when alas the only thing that’s real is pain, and how the person you trust the most will give you the most of it

I don’t understand how people can look at me and see i am “beautiful”, when i look at the thing i am, i feel disgust and loathing, how could ever love what i am? i want to be the girl who makes peoples jaws drop when they see them, the girls who guys talk about how hot they are, i want to be the girl all eyes look at when they walk into a room, god, for once, i just want to look stunning, all i want to mend these bones i’ve broken with self hatred, but i don’t know how to heal bones that are still breaking

Sometimes i feel caught in invisible webs, things that don’t matter and aren’t my problem, maybe the string that feeds the scheme of the web was once my problem, but not supposed to be now, I forget that i need to cut myself from the most suffocating web i’ve ever been caught in, it always stays, an invisible web just waiting for me to get caught in it again, i’m afraid that one day I won’t be able to cut myself out once again, and it will suffocate me one final, life ending time

You grew on me, like ivy does an abandoned house you made people gaze in awe at something they never thought to before, seeing people awe in my beauty made your vines grow tighter on me, poisoning me to the core, you never gazed at my beauty, all you ever cared about was that people knew I was yours, the sadness you made me feel consumed me more than your vines did, when i finally clipped away your vines and dig your roots up from all i was, a little leaf grew on me whenever you crossed my mind and even thought you’re gone, i’m still suffocating in your vines

Look under toadstools, you may see something dancing under a lily, fairies are mischievous beings, they are what give children the wonder in their eyes. children know fairies secrets, and some try and tell them. but alas, no one listens to children. so their secrets are safe. except for the rare times when the wonder never goes away in the humans eyes and they then become a magical being all in themselves

if you want to find magic, you have to look inside for you are a mystical being all in yourself. humans have foretold great journeys and if you look be, there are fairies and Phoenixs and sirens all around but to see all the magic that lies in this very world, you have to find the magic within you

Giddy love This love is all daisies and fairies, only a few ever get to have this love, you can only wish on all shooting stars and stray eyelashes, and every so often that wish comes true for one of the lucky ones, you know this love when you see it, they look at the other like they’re art, and some of us, let this giddy love slip through our fingers, and everything fell with it.

not just the blazing sun, but the star filled warm nights not just the aching sunburns, but the memories that made it worth it summer is the time you find yourself, and who your true friends are it’s the times you have, the firework shows and endless laughs, the water balloon fights and baking disasters it’s the late night conversations, and the hard decisions you had to make summer is the time who defines who you are

Here we are, 10 years later, laughing and sipping champagne. laying on the couch, cheering to everything that we were back then. tipsy giggles. just like it was back then. then, we were drunk on love. now, we are just drunk on the past.
