                Dominic comprehended the woes of retaining a lack of sleep, what with his constantly moving about and helping people across, well, everywhere, really, though he hadn’t expected to ever find himself this far away from the Commonwealth. The excursion itself had really only been to clear his own mind, to refocus himself, to keep him busy and from thinking rather, well, dangerous things, for that is the issue with men, one should know, when they are troubled and alone their thoughts grow violent. Though he only grins, not betraying this bit of himself as he moves from off the other’s desk.

                it was rare the times he left the strip to actually explore the mojave. if he was brave enough, or at least a bit stronger, he could face some troubles the wasteland had to offer, but that was the problem. he was not and still isn’t a man made for war. he’s a writer. his lithe body is not capable to handle the harsh and deadly conditions the wasteland has to offer. sure, he could always try, but he doesn’t have a death wish. he just needs someone to turn him into a fighter. a lithe body can still be of a high strength with the right practice and training. and that’s why he had people with him. strong people like dominic. or even slender people like arcade. he just needs a companion to feel strong.
