I answered two out of three trivia questions correctly at one of our games this weekend.
Which is fabulous but for the fact that I write the damn questions!
I’d say it that - at long last - I have successfully re-aligned the secondary mirror in my telescope because this image I just took of the Moon looks quite sharp.
As far as I am aware I am still married. However, if I am not, it would be because I sent this photo to Jess. The arachnid in question was enjoying a peaceful evening on our deck before I relocated him across the parking lot. I suspect I might be relocated across the parking lot before too long as well.
With the new Christopher Robin movie being released soon I’ll remind you where the name Winnie originated...
If it isn’t one thing...
I think I finally figured out how to collimate the secondary mirror in my telescope with hopes of taking some images of Mars.
But it’s been cloudy the last two nights.
And what few neighbours we have will think I’m pretty weird on my deck with a telescope.

Our oven has an alarm that sounds when it has reached the desired temperature.
Jess has decided that it sounds like the oven is saying “I’m hot. I’m hot. I’m hot”.
Maybe if you ask nicely she will post an audio recording of her impersonating the oven.
We have to keep the door to the basement open a crack because GQ’s litter box is on the landing. So Jess found the most literal door stop possible.

We’re using our shiny new barbecue for the first time. Well Jess is using it. Something about me burning chicken on our first date but I think that’s just one of those stories she likes to tell. And yes, we bought the barbecue to match our KitchenAid mixer which is also Empire Red.
So we see this poster at the neighbourhood drug store. What purpose it serves I do not know. However Jess and I simultaneously theorized - out loud - that the only rational explanation for the look on her face is surprise butt sex. We’re both classy that way but I acquired any lewd and crude traits I have from her.
