I decided to use some of the quarantine time to work on my comic skills, so I made another The Queen of Nothing comic. This is right after she fights Grima Mog. I’m obsessed with the kind of transition parts in the beginning of the book when tired, bounty hunter Jude just kind of deals with the human world. Here’s my previous QoN comic.

In Chapter 26 of The Wicked King, Cardan tried to do things as Jude would have when she was being kept in the Undersea.

Then, in Chapter 23 of The Queen of Nothing, Jude as Queen on her own unknowingly mimics Cardan’s voice and authority when addressing the Council.

Then a chapter later, she goes full Cardan when holding court on her makeshift throne with the uncomfortable cushion seating.

Good lord, my heart. These two will be formidable, insufferable, ADORABLE, regal-ass legendary rulers of Elfhame. /bow to them
