If you aren’t registered to vote in November, please do so ASAP. The November election is the point of no return. If Republicans are allowed to keep control of the House and Senate then Trump will remain in office and have another 2.5 YEARS to continue his agenda. If control is turned over to the Democrats in November, there is almost a certainty that their first order of business is to impeach Trump and to remove his appointees that are undermining our democracy and infrastructure. We’ll be stuck with Pence but, with Democrat control, his Bible-first agenda will be harder to push through so he’ll basically be a ceremonial figurehead until 2020. Even if you don’t care about immigrants or naturalized citizens, take note of this: Trump is trying to remove due process. Which means that fair treatment through the normal judicial system, especially a citizen’s entitlement will be removed. Due process ensures that a person’s life, liberty or property cannot be taken away without a fair trial and evidence. If Trump removes due process, then even if you were born in the USA (whether you are black, brown or WHITE), even if you have proof with a birth certificate, you can still be arrested, imprisoned in an internment camp, have your children taken away from you and THERE’S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!! Without due process, one of our country’s most fundamental checks and balances will be gone.

A lot of people think that mid-term elections are a waste of time - and in a normal year that’s probably true - but it’s not true this time. Our country’s future is literally on the chopping block. Vote Democrat in November and shut Trump and his awful administration down.
