We're not dead. Just changing...
Ello' Everyone
As it's quite clear to see, we haven't been too active on the server lately and I must admit that its been tough getting the server together. The server has been open to BETA testing for nearly 4 months now while we work out some scuffs and bruises. It hasn't been really what we would call "easy" from the initial release of the server, especially with a two man team (Seabass and I). We are going to have to take things slowly at least until we can find some extra help.
As I get further into the server I'm constantly finding things that need fixed and improved before i would ever feel comfortable releasing. Now with that out of the way I would like to shine some light on some good news. I'd like to believe that we are now far enough into the BETA that we may be able to move to removing the Whitelist. No this does not mean we are ready for advertising or to take on fish tanks of people, It just means that we are done taking private requests so friends of friends can freely join too their little hearts content.
Another thing that gets too me personally (and possibly Seabass) is the fact that we are currently (and always have) just been floating around in Minecraft. This can really put a dent in things creatively. It can get really stressful and tedious to just limit yourself to one thing and one thing only. Now don't take this as "We are quitting Minecraft", because we are not. In fact far from it. Are you kidding me? We just released into BETA not to long ago and we've come so far since then. We have so many cool things we want to release.
Here you can see just a glimpse of some (one) of the amazing things we have been working on. When the idea sparks, we build it. The most recent and one of our most anticipated is Seabreyh R.P. also known as Seabreyh Role Play. Basically this idea will take over the same game concept as Garry's Mod R.P in the map known as EvoCity.
I have been working on some big new concepts and ideas of where I want to take us. I would love to widen our pallet and allow us to be more imaginative and experimental with what we do. As I said, it can become very boring and stressful just going full throttle with one thing and that being Minecraft. I cannot count how many amazing projects and ideas that we have started and just cannot finish in a timely manner with the amount of people we have. Two... We have two people, I just really want to emphasize that lol.
Well other than that, That is about where we're standing at the moment with who we are and what we are doing. We of course like always will keep you updated with what we will be changing and tweaking in the future.
Love you all. -Das
