Hello! I am Sage Newbert (They/Them) and I've been told that making Tumblr accounts is, quote, "Good For Business" so... here I am! I will be discussing my professional endevors as the Head Archivist of the Magnus Institute in Hastings, as well as a few other things. Occassionally I will mention certain names in passing but please know those are my co-workers and not people who have given a statement. Come and say hi any time!

While browsing your computer, you find a little door in the corner of the screen. It is light blue in colour, deep purple details, and a white handle. White noise has begun to pour from your speakers, getting louder the more you stare at it.

"Ahhh! Oooh!! Ow ow ow!!" They cover their ears, shutting their laptop with their elbow, tears pricking their eyes from the noise. They wanted to rip their ears off, but alas, it's not ethical to do in the workplace.

"Suppose I'll have to talk to Elijah about this later... ow..."

As soon as the laptop shut, the noise stopped. What replaced it was more pleasant... but nevertheless disturbing. A nice little tune, something akin to a radio jingle or elevator music quietly played. It seemed jolly.

Sage... stared at the laptop for an extended period of time. This was better than the screeching, surely. But it still wasn't great. They had WORK to do! They couldn't dawdle and bawk at this busted computer! Though... what could they really do? It's not like reopening it's an option.

Sage looks up from their desk, a bit alarmed and confused, yet they remain as close as they can be to calm. Through nervous laughter they squeak out a shy;

"S- suuuuure? Hhhhow. Did. You. Get... in here though?"

Well sir I work here and I assume you do too considering well the behind the desk thing

(the chill is noticible)

So let’s get questioning I would ask if you wanted coffee, but I don’t know where the coffee machine is. so let’s start your name, age, and associates

" ... Not really a sir, ma'm, or other... just Sage is fine." They say in an almost shy, pathetic bleat before sighing, "I'm Sage. I'm the Head of the Hasting's Magnus Institute. I have about... three? Other associates?"

They look up in thought, puzzled before shrugging, "Seems about right, yeah. Erm..." They squint and tilt their head like a puppy, "...Not sure why you want my age of all things? It's a bit weird, no offense..."

(Allen seems a bit surprised)

Hastings is this where I am I swear I was just in the London branch tunnels…. Nevermind (he writes vigorously in his notepad)

(he looks and but doesn’t make eye contact but he still notices your shyness)

"Heh, s- sorry, I didn't notice..." They rub their neck sheepishly, "I'm still not exactly.... used? To people coming inside my office? Its weird for me," they clear their throat and their eyes widen like they remembered something, "Oh! We have a coffee machine in the breakroom! Elijah kept asking for it cuz he was sick of buying them for 5 pounds a pop. Just be sure to check that theres no leftover grounds or anything in there... Kara leaves them sometimes."

So what's different with your branch of the institue, I work with the one in London so I don't know much about the Hasting branch

Sage seemed a bit... confused as to why you looked two seconds away from tears, but they gained their composure after a brief, open mouthed stare, shaking their head to get their thoughts in order.

"Well we're more like a... place where things get transferred? Like, extra statements, artifacts, that sort of thing. We keep the important stuff juuuuuuust in case the first place goes boom." They snort nervously, "Which- whew! Sure hope that doesn't happen! But uh... my job is the same as Mr.Sims', read statements and follow up."

(He scribbles more and more)

do you know Mr.Bouchard and what his... deal is.

"Errrr... no. Not... personally?" They squint, tilting their head in a puppy-esc way, "The head of our Institute is Ms. Lemmings."

( he hums for a bit some sort of tune that is vaguely familiar, maybe from an 80's comedy shows, Monty something you think)

I believe i know who you're talking about..... what does she looks like...

(he looks slightly scared with the questions he asked)

"Err... rather tall? Lots of jewlery bits? Heels?"

They visibly fluster, "Ooooohh ha-ha! Noooo!" They pull at their slightly bunched vest collar, "I'm the Head Archivist of this building! N- nooooot the Head of the whole Inatitute! I am SO sorry for that confusion!"
