Apparently the Sonic OVA was an attempt to kickstart a Sonic anime, as it was originally 2 episodes in the Japanese release, but since Sonic's not popular in Japan, it flopped hard, so they canceled plans for the anime, and release the 2 episodes as a movie overseas.

I wonder what there could've been if they kept it going... 🤔

Yeah I’ve heard about that! I wish they went through with it anyway since it’s pretty unique and has a cool style, but it is what it is

Made a posable Sonic plush! I tried using an armature for the first time with this and I’m happy with how it turned out! This took me about a month to complete

If possible, are you taking commissions at this time? Saw your previous sonic cd artworks and loved them alot! Am looking to get a drawing sonic in dubious depths? kinda obsessed with it atm, since i learned the little planet theme was intended to be the zones present theme. theres not much to go off of tho since its the scrapped zone
